Redcar 🐻 (42) vs Poole ☠️ (48) P/Off Semi Final 2nd leg Oct 5th 6pm

Both teams go into this meeting with guest riders with Redcar bringing in Jake Allen and Jack Smith for Erik Riss (illness) and Jody Scott (concussion) respectively while Poole turn to the services of former Pirate Adam Ellis to cover for Richard Lawson (compassionate leave). Pirates' Lewis Kerr is fit after hip injury.

With only six points between the teams and with Pirate hero Lawson absent the Bears will be fancying their chances of progressing into the final vs Glasgow. What must be remembered though is the Pirates scored 44 at the ECCO Arena in July to claim the aggregate bonus point without Anders Rowe (r/r) and with Lawson only scoring 11+1 from 6 rides. 

So it's finely balanced in what should be a cracker of a meeting. I will be trackside will you be?

Jan and Kevin are all ready up at Redcar supporting the Pirates. We go to every away meeting . Great that we are in all 3 finals. Hope for good safe racing and will celebrate with lbw after event, flat whites all round.

Avin pre meeting flat white ☕ at Derby train station. Looking forward to tonight and even though we haven't got Rocketman 🚀 riding I'm still in a positive frame of mind that the PIRATES ☠️ will get the job done just like we did at Glasgow in the Cup.

My opinion is Redcar will miss Jody but not as much als we will miss Lawson and Jake Allen is a good guest for Riss, shame the Ryder Cup isnt today!!!!
