It could also be said that a bike failure in heat 14 cost Poole the point that would have given them the aggregate! Can do Denmark when you don’t have a meeting here, just cause he’s signed a contract there doesn’t necessarily mean he’ll be prioritising it. You do realise Nagel was not in a points scoring position at the time of his bike failure and it was the last lap and Cairns was in a points scoring position at the time of his bike failure having passed Hodder. Yes but Tobias' 2nd division Danish fixtures were mainly on weekends! Next season it's rumoured that he'll be racing in the Danish senior league on Wednesdays.

Baiiey will be competing with 2 young up and coming Danes for at best a single slot in the team. This went under most peoples radar as the Regional Varde press release went out after all the hype put out regarding Bailey signing for them. The later release mentioned the other 2 young Danes plus mentioned that the 3 of them will be competing for one possible place in the team. For me Bailey who has just turned 16 is currently a level above both Cairns and Rushen although Rushen looks the real deal as an exciting racer with bags of potential not 16 until late March. Bailey on 4 points could well prove a real bonus if he dropped into reserve should Cairns improve (as we would expect) or Rushen (if signed) proves he is what many expect which is potentially the next exciting young Brit. Also if we retain Lawson/Rowe/Cook it leaves us with 5.89 points which leaves the option of signing a Young Euro/Dane rider who has done well in POL U24 league or a Zischke/Mcdiarmid. Just not Fraser Bowes PLEASE....... On Mcdiarmid already being mentioned on POL site that he could be their U24 overseas rider for 2026 in Leszno POL EXL Team. Not bad for a rider who only turns 18 in late March 26 off the back of his first season in UK. All this on assumption it is 2 leagues and a 40 point limit of course which none of us know for certain.

I know Bowes had the falling out towards the end of the season, is that your reason for not wanting him here? Put in some fast performances at Poole, don’t get me wrong I’d prefer Zischke over him but I’m sure Worky will be desperate to keep him. Shame that it’s highly unlikely Kerr will stay due to the limit because I like the look of him on his average. Lawson Bailey Rowe Zischke Cook Cairns Rushen would be my 7 of choice. starke not done enough to be back IMO. This was after the trophy presentation and while the Poole riders were at the other side of the stadium being interviewed. The rest of the Poole rider interviews are on Facebook and have been viewed 9000 times so far. We also interviewed Richard Lawson and Zach Cook on the main show as soon as they took their helmets off after the super heat. Actually the Chris Harris interview took place after the Super Golden Heat and the Lawson & Cook interviews took place before the trophy presentation. Not everybody is on the vile social media platform that is Facebook and I don't think it's too much to expect, as paying subscribers to the BSN service, to see and hear from the winning (and losing, if they are willing) riders and management instead of watching a firework display, which never comes across great on tv despite broadcasters (not just BSN) always being drawn to them. Generally another good season of coverage though 👍🏻 Edited 2 hours ago by IainB

Toby and Kerr victims of the numbers games Nothing to do with Bowes fall out with Workington. Just don't rate the guy. Bases himself in POL. Just about to turn 24 and has ridden in POL since 2021 also in the POL U24 which he would not qualify for next year anyway. By example in 2025 he was 38th of 59 riders who rode the league regular and thats after 4 years riding POL and 2nd Lge of Swe. He may possibly ride to his 5.63 GSA but to me even that is because he rode against plenty of inferior quality riders to those in POL U24. At Poole he got 13 from 6 rides for Worky then 2 from 4 rides as a guest in late August. Can have his moments but I do question if he would be more suitable if others with more scope are available. I could be wrong of course and its just my opinion. I think his participation in POL could be in doubt as without POL U24 even his av in POL 2nd Div was 55th out of 59 regular riders from his 18 matches. Remember he has been in POL riding for 4 years not 1/2 years.

Dan Gilkes probably Oxford bound, if he’s recovered well from his nasty injury he’s a steal on his 4.58 AVG Ofcourse with Poole having nearly 6 points left it does leave the door open to seek a 5 point rider like Glasgow did. A rider like Nagel this year do tend to prefer the mid season switch rather than commit from the start. If you sign the right 5 point rider like Nagel, Basso and Pavolaa? They can make a mockery of that prior avg

On a five year frame looking at natural talent its no contest Bailey all the way the flip side being the boy should be one day gracing the biggest stage so after 3-4 years UK he most likely will be off to Poland full time where Tobias may not improve much but he could be long term servant to UK speedway.
