If one big league, with a rider like Foord in a second string position was the  only way for league Speedway to survive over here, then I'd support it.

Clubs like Belle Vue would never support one big league. It would be detrimental to everything they are doing there so it won't happen and everyone can hype it up as much as they want, it just won't happen. And in case anyone has forgotten or weren't alive the last time the two leagues merged, it sucked.

the current league setup also 'sucks' though. Cant compare something that happened 30 years ago to now, at the end of the day if Belle Vue dont like it the options are either put up with it or dont run.

But what can they do if they want a 6 team Premiership & not enough teams want to join them? They can't just make Poole or Glasgow move up.
