The offer was on the table

I bet there was a โ€œofferโ€ from him.

Great promotion from Glasgow and a very competitive team. Setting the blueprint again on how to promote have to congratulate them.

Youโ€™re not allowed to say that or they possil crew will be after you, the party line now is the really fair track. ๐Ÿ˜

To be fair if your taking a newbie to speedway

Workington

Redcar

Glasgow

Belle Vue

are about the only tracks you know are a safe bet for a great meeting.

"I was a traitor but now a Glasgow faithful" was that a tongue in cheek reference to Sam Hagon being a former Poole rider?

Could be a great signing at reserve. Looks a very strong team, although depends how well Hausl and Pedersen take to British speedway. Great video and looking forward to the new season

Great bit of publicity from Glasgow, showing the sport a way forward, meanwhile in the premiership they still canโ€™t decide which bus to catchย

A video of five people sat round a table, head scratching...:D

Great work from Glasgow as ever. They're in a different stratosphere to the rest. You know they'll completely maximise the angle of Hausl/Seychelles too, and rightly so.

Many Polish teams have done this kind of thing for a fair few years...

Good to see a UK team seeing value in doing something similar in a 24/7 media era...

Be interesting to see which teams do their own VLOG covering "the before", "the during", and "the after" of their matches...

15 to 20 mins max, out on YouTube, and the other Socials...

Plenty of reach on those platforms for not a lot of outlay....

Glasgow do seem to be well ahead of many others when it comes to actual promoting and marketing themselves...

That's a bit harsh on the Prem clubs, can't be easy with only 5 clubs "brave" enough to race in the top division, one of these not willing to race in a 5 team league apparently.

If Glasgow were willing to be a Prem team then it'll all have been decided in a November AGM.

Glasgow are clearly the best set to step up, but if they are happy to be a big fish in a little pond, can't force them to move up.

A lot of what they do screams professionalism, feel they look like a "Premier" promotion.

It is the race night that is the issue

Two great prospects in Hausl and Pedersen , I thought Worky might have a chance at pedersen but heโ€™ll do well at Glasgowย

Unfortunately think a Friday nite will fit in better for continental commitments rather than a Saturday at worky

As opposed to being a big fish in a smaller pond?

I wouldnโ€™t call it โ€œbrave enoughโ€. Still we will have to see what transpires.

Final averages will be on BSPL website -ย https://britishspeedway.co.uk/

but the averages wont include the 2.5% British reduction

Chris Harrisย  ย 8.90
Kyle Howarthย  ย 7.92
Leon Flintย  ย  6.95
Mario Hauslย  5.00 assessed
Kevin Juhl Pedersenย 5.00 assessed
Sam Hagonย  ย  3.48ย
Freddy Hodder 2.63

Total 39.88 I'm assuming the 2 new riders are both assessed 5 as rumour was 40 point limit.

The promoters AGM isn't until January so probably February before any Championship fixtures announced.

Just in the mood for a rant, feel clubs need to support each other more to keep Speedway alive.

Last year Oxford & Birmingham were clearly miles below the strengths of the others, but that didn't bother them, now they are gone (Birmingham probably would be anyway).

Now it's almost like Champ clubs are of the opinion "my league is fine, I don't care if the other 5 teams close" - I may be exaggerating obviously.

But my original comment, was really to defend Prem clubs trying to keep their league alive.

Anyway, I better mention Glasgow, as it's their page - looks a really decent side, Hodder as the weaker reserve & Hagon dropping down from second string to reserve, should boost his scores.

Could be the best heat leader trio on the league. Then 2 exciting newcomers, if I was a Glasgow fan I'd be delighted.
