SharpenRake
19 hours ago, SteelShoe said: Agree Bowes has potential. He had 3 very good meetings for Worky at home against Scunny and Glasgow and away at Poole the latter after which he was probably tapped up for 2026. He failed to back those performances up in subsequent meetings. He missed a few meetings for Worky and never rode at Plymouth or Oxford. He found Armadale extremely challenging scoring 2 points from 8 rides over 2 meetings but he wasn't alone among Worky riders who struggled there. If he gates at Poole he will score okay but if he doesn't I believe he may struggle. He followed up his 13 for Worky with 2 guesting for. Glasgow. He won't have the same pressures on him next season bearing in mind he probably won't be riding in Poland where he never pulled up any trees in the U24's or for Tarnow. I wish him well but you are welcome to him the way he treat Workington. He scored paid 3 for Glasgow following home Bomber for a 5-1 beating Cook and Kerr. He then touched the tapes in his 'easiest' race and finished last, off 15 metres. From memory he made a good gate in his last race and moved out allowing the Poole riders to pass him easily. Hopefully he has l earned from these mistakes.
foreverblue
In m opinion Fraser Bowes is a good signing, he did have some double figure meetings and some poor meetings too otherwise his would be higher but he should be able to increase his average a little now he has ridden most tracks and develop in to a solid performer. JC81
im not against any team who can dominate a league year on year , should be applauded . my issue is with the bad aura they try and create , and the atitude of not all. but some of the fans also lets be honest the only reason poole dominate is because they can pay want the want to riders , despite having an abysmal track . I believe this is the part of the down fall of british speedway when clubs chuck what they want at riders with no caps or limits .

No idea why you think that, it is not true, we do not pay what the riders want.
