Workington 2026

Good start to team building, i think all three so far have potential to kick on and improve there starting averages.

Which brings up my concerns about Jacob hook, yes he had a decent season but I don't see him improving on his starting average, especially if in the main body.

Next for me would be antti, yes I get the concern about his away performances but I do think it will improve next year. Not only that he is entertaining at home, easily the best rider to watch week In week out last year. That's what we pay for, to be entertained. Especially at home.

The lads 23 there's no reason why he can't up his average and if not he'll be back down at reserve so win,win 🤷

i like watching anti at home and if hes back ill be behind him

but cant understand why some say have anti back but not hook

hook improved a lot last year and not just at home

Hook is a cert to be back. With all his ducks in a row he is a surefire regular scorer in any comets side

Hook has upped his average every year he's been over here, so would be a good decision to retain him.

While he may not find it so easy in the top 5, every rider has to make that step up eventually, unless you sign a career reserve.

Besides you don't need all 7 riders to improve their averages to have a successful season, even if Hook can maintain his average in the top 5, that would be considered progress.

Also from a purely "moral" standpoint, it'd be a shame for a rider to be dropped because he did too well!
