Simon lambert had a bad year lat year

But id never be surprised to see him hit double figures at any track and speedway runs in his blood great team guy

Yes he's getting towards end of his riding days

Probably on gut instinct because we watch him every week you can just tell from years of watching speedway his average of 5.57 is rather overinflated.

Found these stats for his guest bookings from 2025 riding in the top order, although a small sample, they back up why he'd struggle.  Averaged 2.66 when guesting in the top order, compared to when he rode at these same tracks at reserve for Workington he had multiple double figure scores.

That's a fair point, I haven't seen him often, but when I have he's always impressed me. Even when he struggled to score at Edinburgh, looked stylish & on the pace.

Wouldn’t say that Lambert always comes across a 110% trier maybe getting old but strong team man who can score well especially at reserve ….

who knows!

season tickets out soon so get them wallets out and support this club 🔵

Lambo would be a good addition in my view, had a bad season but showed glimpses of better form at times and like Kerr seemed to have a lot of bike issues. I think he could be worth a go but the obvious choice for him is probably Berwick.

Get him signed for the pilots then 🙃

If you leave lambo out of the above team you have 4.59 left to play with, unless you get beau bailey think there's a struggle to get a half decent rider to fit into the team

I make it 4.83 available without Lambert, so Alfie Bowtell would fit?

I would still take a punt on him round Berwick in that average. Max Perry only decent meetings were around Berwick wouldn’t have him even on that average.I would prefer Ben Trigger but seemingly he has retired.

Prefers small technical tracks that require skill and techniques opposed to wide open tracks that just require a strong engine 🤩

Certainly a small technical track if he ends up at the Plymouth polo mint track 😝
