Hope Tate and Cookie are paired together they rode so well together last time 5-1s incoming ! When something sounds too good to be true, it usually is! But this is all irrelevant if the rule is 'one rider over 8', as 8.00 is not over 8. Looks like it wasn't wrong after all 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Totally agree with that my only concern is him staying in the team, he jacked in 2024 when the team were doing really well.

InTheDeepStuff
So will Cook last 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 or for a change manage to complete a full season without using the book of excuses?
ASpeedwayfan
Can someone explain to me why his average isn’t 8.0? 8.2 minus the British reduction is 7.995 which of course rounds up to 8. Is it so they can have him and Jepperson? I’ve got no problem with him being at Worky and I wouldn’t want him out of a job. But I do disagree with reducing a riders average so a team can fit them in. I know it’s only 0.01 and I know that they’ll likely have points spare on their team overall. But just wondering if I’ve missed something. Midget
A very good signing. Workington done a full season without a number 1 last year but are going into this season with two number 1s
WookieboyDon
Are management already looking for a replacement for mid season?! 😉

Averages are calculated to 3 decimal places, and rounded to 2. Cook's rolling average is 207 points from 101 rides = 207/101 x 4 = 8.198 If he was a foreigner, 8.198 would round to 8.20 As he's British, he gets a further 2.5% reduction. 8.198 x 0.975 = 7.993 which rounds to 7.99 (But even if it was 8.00 he would still fit) 1

Only goes to 2 decimal points, so it's 7.
