Been no real news on this ‘rotator cuff’ injury which has me a bit suspicious especially the way James talked about his absence over last weekend in interviews I seen Craig at the Physios the other day. He is obviously getting some treatment for something

I know many of you may have known my father as Jenga / j20hh. He sadly passed away recently after battling with various illnesses the last couple of months, but I know he was fairly active on here, and I thought it would be fitting to log into this account to announce it. I'm aware he was a bit of a marmite character on these forums, but he was on here exactly how he was in real life, a windup merchant with bad grammar. It's been fascinating to look back through his posts and comments, and more so the replies from other people. I can only apologise if he aggravated any of you with his comments, but know that they've brought a grieving son a great deal of joy, to have an online archive of my Dad just trying his best to wind people up over a sport he loved. Speedway and Workington Comets were a huge part of my Dad's life, and a huge part of my childhood, I'm sure I'll have to get down to Northside to honour his memory soon. If any of you happened to know him in real life, I'd be more than happy to pass on funeral details over a PM. Thanks Thank you for posting and is always strange when people disappear and you have no idea why.Hope he RIP and condolences to everyone.

Bomber75
I dont know what others think but in my view if Cookie isnt up for it we need to look for a replacement also Vinnie is out for a while by all accounts so maybe we look to replace him (temporarily) R/R and guests isnt really working. The other issue which is a good problem that works against us is that there is really no home advantage visitors are up to speed on the first ride which isnt the case at the more technical??? (awkward) tracks

(awkward) tracks Unfortunately there are question marks around what exactly is the situation re Craig . We have been here before as have many clubs over the years. Perhaps only the management know the true story, it is up to them to do what is in the best interests of the business, the team and the fans. scaramanga
As much as I'd like Craig in the team If there's any chance he's out for a while we need to make 3 changes at least We need at least 1 decent reserve Even when vinnie back he's not gonna be on the pace straight away

I always enjoyed reading Jenga winding folk up, and missed his comments when he disappeared - obviously ill then. Thanks for the fun Jenga, RIP my friend.
H20
My concern on Cook is he has not been near since his "injury" even only living down the road which I find strange, you would think he would be down supporting his team mates.

AndiCapp
Heard a bike tonight going around the GT Tyres Arena tonight. Led to believe it maybe a new signing.
Marksman
8 teams riding this Friday, so the choice of guests is from Plymouth only in the CL Probably R/R if Cookie isn’t fit, can’t see Nicholls taking it with his schedule of Ipswich Thursday, Plymouth Saturday. Berwick have already taken Tom Spencer, so a NL guest it is for Vinnie. Which puts the pressure on Max Perry to score our likely only points from reserve. Options for Saturday are also very limited with 6/9 teams riding.
