I'd love Brennan to be back in Red & Black next year but if Ipswich are losing Sayfutdinov then they'll surely retain him.

Maybe different now he's had a big accident

Can we keep Kurtz for home matches and Bewley for away ones please?

You'd rather watch Kurtz ride the NSS than Bewley... go see a shrink!  No finer sight in the sport than Bewley throttle jockeying the NSS... (Sorry Ipswich fans).

Plus he's more likely to miss the gate than Kurtz.

Yes I'd rather watch Kurtz at Belle Vue, less said about his away 'efforts' the better.

Brady was less than a point better away than Jaimon but that’s more a reflection on Jaimon being one of the better away riders than Brady being particularly poor.

Bewley has a better away average, 8.25 compared to Kurtz 7.76, is better to watch at the NSS and is more willing to team ride.  But if Aces can keep both they surely will.  Absolutely no point in preserving with Zischke for a year if they are to abandon him now when he's on a 3.00 reason, but h's on a 3.00 average for a reason because the reserves were what let Belle Vue down.  Would have to look at the RS list when it's published to see if there is anyone preferable to Mulford.  Cairns didn't really impress in his only NSS Premiership outing.
Would only consider Lidsey if Kurtz/Bewley spearhead isn't possible.

Average wise there’s only Gilkes and Edwards better than Jake for next season

I’d stick with Tate on a 3.

We need to focus on our dreadful away form as we only won 4. We need to match the top two in the league who were excellent with 5 wins each.

I’m sure one day you will actually work out how the sport goes with regards to home and away matches

You won away at Kings Lynn, Oxford twice and Birmingham … in a 7 team league they were the 3 weakest

You have built a team that can’t ride at a track like Ipswich or Leicester ….. certain riders go better at certain tracks

Your 1-7 is better than Kings Lynn … but none of your team can ride Foxhall where as riders like Kvech Klindt Harris and Lawson go well there

As an Ipswich fan I’d have much rather faced a team of riders that can’t ride Foxhall then a team that can

Come to us next season with the same 1-7 and you have no chance

Suppose that depends on who your 1 to 7 is really. As well as injuries etc. Hopefully one day you’ll work out that you can’t predict results more than 6 months in advance.

Blodorn's favourite UK track is Leicester.  Aces only lost the fixture I went to see at Beaumont Park by 2 points due to an incredible ride by Fricke to split Kurtz & Bewley (after being passed Kurtz fell to give a further point away).

It was Perry Barr but too late now.

I've never really rated Blodorn, feel his progress slowed when he was no longer at reserve. However, I now feel he's good value on his average & is worth a team spot (such is Speedway). Also feel makes sense to bring Zischke back, seems counter productive to keep a struggling reserve all year, unless you expect to benefit the following season?

If the rules allowed, I'd bring back both Bewley & Kurtz.

Also think Mulford will be one of the better "rising stars" with Flint & Jenkins graduating from the scheme. I'd definitely stick with him.

what will PHB average be??? 4.5 or 5

Current rules 4.50 but with our apparent interest in the lad the rules might be altered for ‘26 and he could be 5 or above. That will depend on our proposed lineup.

Tungate 5.89

Blodorn 4.87

Bewley 8.64

Zischke 3.00

RS Mulford or cairns

=35.87

Is it really worth sticking with Kurtz and Bewley if it results in Blodorn @ No.4? Couldn't even do a job @ No.2 this season in all fairness.

Tunners would put on a point at the bare minimum riding the NSS every other week. He’d be a far better signing for Belle Vue than anyone else IMO.

Having watched a fair bit of PHB the last couple of years as well, he’d be a huge home favourite very quickly. Track is tailor made for him. Keeping the best top two in the league as well and you’d outgun everyone else in 13 and 15.

If that is the team, I think we’d see @AceBellerise from the dead very quickly on here…

😉

Agreed certainly for home meetings Tungate would be a great signing for the aces.
