Maybe it's the date Brady met his partner?

Feb 6th is National Give Kids a Smile Day... or alternatively International Day of Zero Tolerance for Female Genital Mutilation (which would wipe the smile off of anybody's face!)

If he was signed months ago, why on earth leave it until February the 6th to announce it? What's so special about February the 6th? 🤔

He was signed ages ago, Phil The Ace told us weeks ago.

Have to say it makes it less likely, and if it does happen more likely to be 2027, otherwise 2026 could be financial folly especially with no time to do pre-season marketing and promotion. At least it probably means Ipswich has gone from 99% to 99.9%

It makes zero difference, Brady was ALWAYS staying at Belle Vue, Never in doubt, 100%, nothing more to be said.   Great New for the Aces and the League.

Although @PhilTheAce is usually spot on, even he is not always right... why Feb 6th?

And its three days after Groundhog Day!, so is it the BSPL  equivalent where they live the AGM over and over again untill they get the 'PL - Premier League' right?

Or do they just give up and rename it the 'NVL - No Variety League'  🤔

What’s it like for wheelchair access / viewing at Belle Vue please? Thinking of taking my dad to the GP

The grandstand has special wheelchair platforms accessed by lift, for GP the space is more limited then usual as TV people have used some of it in past. There are also wheelchair platforms at each end of the sound stand. best to call the club to confirm availability.

Wheelchair access in the stadium is first class.  It had to be because it's a modern build and in association with the local council.  There's even a stairlift up to the referees box for the disabled.  (no comment).

Would be worth giving the club a call though, because obviously traffic is a nightmare for the GP and if you need to park close, they might need to find you a disabled parking place if possible.

You’ll both have a brilliant time. Top class racing on a proper racetrack. Never first out of the gate is the nailed on winner at the NSS.

Manchwrster Storm Ice Hockey team going back into the AO Arena in the city centre next season..

Citing growth in attendances for themselves and the sport nationally, has given them the confidence to make the move...

17,000+ once watched them there v Sheffield...

It will be interesting to see the marketing done locally to engage enough people to attend...

Maybe a tad more done than the Aces do maybe?

Is that still going? I remember standing near the front and getting sprayed with ice.

Yes, still going....

And, quite popular with families...

A small sport in the grand scheme of things which seems to have progressive leaders, with ambition to grow...

Not sure if you noticed. But they do have perspex to stand behind if you go again....:D

Do they bring the ice smoothing machine out for 10 minutes after 4 minutes of play?

Yes they do....

And also plan games in knowing 100% that their players will be playing Ice Hockey somewhere else in another competition...

However, they fix this by lending and borrowing some of the best players to each other through the season...

It really works well...
