Yes, still going....

And, quite popular with families...

A small sport in the grand scheme of things which seems to have progressive leaders, with ambition to grow...

Not sure if you noticed. But they do have perspex to stand behind if you go again....:D

Do they still knock seven bells out of each other on the ice ? . Best bit about that sport imo

They did stop it for a short amount of time....

Fan numbers dropped, and feedback wasn't good..

So they brought it back...:D

They obviously took their fan’s opinions as the future. Maybe a few other sports should take their lead eh 🫤

An unusual, but novel idea....:D

Biggest problem with the Elite league is the money they throw at the top ‘stars’. Stars who could walk down the street without anyone batting an eyelid and who have little impact on the attendance. Admission cost is around the £25 mark for adults which offers poor value to money and the associated cost like food, drink and merchandise is prohibitively expensive for most.

It needs to move away from having a board of directors made up of participating clubs and go independent.

With attendance averaging around 1500 over the last few years it was good to see it top 2000 last season though I’m sure come the first televised match next season from the massive AO arena the mantra will be “why all the empty seats in Manchester”?

Only in ice hockey eh?

Heavy crash for Dan Bewley in Denmark tonight, something broke on bike going into first bend, straightened into fence, went in ambulance.

Weird one as if it were something like a chain the bike would lose momentum but he seem to pick up momentum after the initial wobble, best wishes Dan

Could rear wheel have been loose?

Just read that it’s a rumoured thigh injury for Dan. A season ender apparently. Hopefully not and hopefully just a rumour. All the best to Dan and his recovery.

that impact would have surely done damage to the femur he’s already broken. Desperately unlucky in what seemed like a season where it was all coming together at the right time

Freddie and now Bewley out for extended periods, may as well hand it to BZ again
