Sounds to me like he's one of the few sensible men in the room, making a judgement that for his financial health/personal life/sanity it is time to get out. And who can blame him.

I suspect no one on here knows why the decision has been made but with a number of the staff at Ipswich stepping down clearly all is not well on a wider scale.  Someone may well step in and take over the club but the Louis connection is a hard act to follow. The main hope is that the club and sport survives in Suffolk and I think that must be the hope for the sport as a whole. Speedway cannot afford to see tracks close and at whatever level the sport ends up racing a Foxhall, it is important  that speedway continues. Fingers crossed.

Yes let’s hope a resolution can be found and quick and Ipswich come to the tapes in 2026 and the sport can get back to arguing about points limits and superheats

So if a promoter would say to Allen, "don't be daft you're not getting extra you didn't double up last year" they'd have to treat Jenkins the same (paying last year's Champ rates).

* riders used as an example as they had similar averages, couldn't really compare Harris or Lawson to a rider not doubling up.

What I write about my Polish club comes from the club so it’s more factual based than opinion so that’s really not an insult 😂 shout me out if you want, I’d love another 15 people in the world knowing about me 😉

Well I have to say I am gutted as both the clubs I attend Sheffield and Ipswich are up for sale / facing uncertain futures.

The truth will come out and we can all decide if Louis was taking his ball home or not (I suspect not) - but lets see - clearly someone who has devoted his entire life to UK speedway wouldn't just walk away on a whim / fit of pique!!

I’m not delighted, I’m mortified at what is going in the sport and not have a team of my own I supported Ipswich this season but no team is bigger than the sport even if they were the biggest in it
