Agreed. He seems to make good decisions on the racetrack and is a decent gater.. Edited Sunday at 08:10 AM by chun

Aries
Good luck to Pedersen let’s see if he can grab his chance to impress. And good luck to Bangs too hope he gets fixed up in the Championship and rediscovers his true form. There’s no question he’s a much better rider than what we’ve seen.
Baldyman
At 24 KJP is at a bit of a crossroads,, is he ever gonna be a decent rider, or just another rider that hovers around the reserve birth. 2
ShanoXtra
Serious actions for Ipswich management is required. They pulled the trigger on Pedersen for PHB, so it shows they aren’t afraid to make decision. I personally feel Scotty and Lawson need to go. Don’t know if either of these can come in but Ellis and Rew would fit the witches and start to feel like we have our team back. This season is awful and feels like a bunch of individuals. After last season, and yes I know a lot of crap went on in the winter, but we lost our team. Keep king, Brennan, Edwards, and I like pedersen and certainly Tobi. But now Lawson has to be removed from this team. Scotty has been there for us throughout so this isn’t a dig at him but even he knows he cant be competitive away from Foxhall which is sad but a reality. This isn’t a retirement fund club, you want people on seats, sort this team out or risk losing more fans.
Aries
They don’t strike me as the kind of owners/management that will make changes easily. Bangs was probably an extreme case and you get the impression they didn’t really wanna drop him either. They seem to like/want to back their riders as long as possible which although could become irritating to supporters in the long term especially if certain riders aren’t performing, it’s difficult to criticise.
Roger Jacobs
There must be a concern about Lawson, because he missed a Danish match recently citing illness. If he has an illness, perhaps it's finally caught up with him? Otherwise, there could be something else outside the sport causing an issue ...
MP78
Is there any chance Doyle can be hooked back into the fold when his 28 day deal at BV expires? Agree with Shano about Nicholls... I think it was well worth a try, but it hasn't had the desired results. Lawson and Nicholls out, JD and Jeppesen in perhaps. That would give fans a huge boost! SteveArena
The management will have a chat with Gavan first and pick his brains.

Think u'll find Doyle will sign another 28 day contract with Belle Vue, and keep doing so till Bewley is fit to return.

It wasn't even a difficult decision to fit him back in, Easy three picks to release at the time, Lawson (Attitude), Nicholls (Ineffective around Play-Off tracks) and Hellstrom-Bangs (On and Off Track Struggles) Mayfield simply have to get it right in 2027, Paul Hurry's Mate's rates cannot be a factor under any circumstances, Loyal Club Riders like Danny King cannot become a factor either if he ends up on a 7+ GSA.

I agree about Nicholls sadly - even his home form is a shadow of what it was in 2024 guesting for Doyle. As far a a replacement goes, Nicholls is still on a quite inflated rolling average, and Rew might just fit, I would like to see him back. Not sure about dropping Lawson - he is a solid rider everywhere but recently admitted he's a one-man band. Maybe organising some off track help for him is a better answer.

It always happens once a rider even contemplates retiring they seem to have fall away quite quickly ,the CL is a possibility next season but IMO now he should make this his last season as a rider .
siggysigalos
Doyley won't ride for Paul Hurry......It actually seems like no one will ride for him to be fair...Hence Edward Kennett and Michael Palm-Toft are his guests so far, cant count Chris Harris as he rides for anybody. But as the great man Coleman said at the start, we have to keep backing him in 2026....Coz 2027 will be when he needs to be judged. On Lawson, he does seem to get a lot of hate, or let's say criticism, mellow that down a bit....But he does score big points, many many more than Tom who is still sitting at Number 1. It's been a tough season, after the last 2 or 3, i suppose it had to dip, but under Paul Hurry it seemed to of dipped even lower than i thought. But don't forget those immortal words.....Judge me on 2027..NOT 2026
Bash
Where did you hear that Siggy, always thought it was a strange choice for team manager, doesn't seem to be the motivator you need to get the team going. Maybe if Scotty does retire he could take it over next season.
