Hamish McRaker
Could Leicester be the last club left standing? Don't forget to turn off the lights on the way out, Stewart.

Prob as they dont want the leftovers and will have a season to build a competitve team. He suggested that if they had planned better six months ago that a Champ team would be a Prem team by now. 4 hours ago, Haza said: Worrying times indeed -how and why would any potential sponsor want to get involved with British speedway? it’s nothing short of a shambles They certainly wouldn't if they read this forum!

The 2026 league will not be a perfect league (that's an understatement!) So he called an emergency AGM because of what he saw coming and whatever was agreed then fell apart. The situation with Ipswich was mentioned but were there other factors? He was very diplomatic when saying that promoters collectively (included himself) have hopefully learnt a lesson, but I sensed an underlying frustration when I listened to his interview. I bet he was venting some 'F' bombs on the drive back from Barnsley!

Does that fit with my previous post on another thread stating Oxford had been saying they would continue in the Premiership at all official meetings whilst in the background having different intentions? I do think that Oxford intimated that they were continuing in Premiership when they first talked about only running 2 Teams.

Maybe that was the time they found out there would be no tv deal renewal... or maybe June/July when Mr Dickson called for and EAGM?

Well that might well be the case but the Agm in January roughly 2 months to the start of the season a so called professional sport and we don’t even no if it’s one big league one two leagues again with potential 5 teams in the PL with no tv deal either what positive spin can you put on this ?? If I was a potential sponsor I’d think shambles and walk away
