Any signings have to be ratified and approved by the BSPL don't they? Or has that ruling changed?  That being the case, they must know what is happening in 2026, but, as usual, the fans are being played to as fools.

I’m sure it’ll be 2 leagues once again, unlucky for the premiership sides as they’ll do well to find 6 teams. Hopefully some more teams resurface and British speedway finds some money to make it big again

I guess with Glasgow announcing their team ,young Luke is staying with the Scorpions next season? Good lad who will steadily improve.👍

Will be great to have Pickering back in the league. He’ll definitely draw a crowd at Armadale. An 11 plus average is madness though. That team will be far too top heavy.

Apparently his average drops to 9ish on 1st May

Apparently he will revert to his old Championship average, not sure why the rules are like this.

Since he skipped a year in the championship he gets a sort of assessed average converted from his premiership one until he completes a meeting that influences his average, then his average goes back to being based on his championship scores from when he last rode in the league. Pretty sure he's guaranteed to drop to around a 9 no matter how well he scores.

That's it 100%, exactly the same as what happened to Riss at Redcar (unless they change the rules).

That was a bit different, Morris signed on his last Champ average from 2023. But as soon as he rode a match, they dropped any 2022 matches from his rolling ave (only goes back 3 years) so his average dropped heavily.
