Paddy The Rebel
Looking at all the teams so far I must say it looks the most competitive championship in a while. My team Poole look really good with Cairns and Rushen at reserve with decent top end if Lawson and Cook and solid enough with the middle order riders I feel both reserves and 2nd strings will all have 5-6pt averages come the end of the season and I feel Poole will be the team to beat again. With regards to other teams Oxford- look definate play off team and for me the main threat to Poole. Regarding other play off teams I think it’s wide open for the other 2 spots every team looks decent enough. Think Scunthorpe will be rock bottom awful looking team imo. Thoughts….
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Poole to steamroller everyone The set up in the Championship is not really different to that in the Premiership demonised by many For Ipswich/Belle Vue hoovering up 4 GP stars leaving Oxford and and Birmingham as fodder in 2025 you will have Poole/Glasgow doing similar whilst Scunthorpe/Workington flounder in 2026
ouch
Difficult to predict. 😀 2019 Poole sorry I mean Leicester beat Glasgow 2020 Poole v Glasgow* 2021 Poole beat Glasgow 2022 Poole beat Glasgow 2023 Glasgow beat Poole 2024 Poole beat Glasgow oops I mean Oxford 2025 Poole beat Glasgow 2026 Poole v Glasgow To soften the blow of three play off defeats to Poole, Glasgow beat Edinburgh when they met for the tenth time last season. *postponed due to Covid. 2019, Poole were unable to meet Glasgow in the play offs as they were in a different league. Poole and Glasgow top 2 Redcar, Edinburgh, Oxford and Berwick fighting out for play off spots......probably the most interesting aspect of the season Worky & Plymouth Scunthorpe bottom 1

Marksman
It is a good looking and competitive Championship, the usual suspects Poole, Oxford and Glasgow will no doubt be up there, all 3 look strong. Edinburgh have a strong looking reserve pair (believe Loftus will be one of the best signings on his average) Plymouth strong top 2, plus Klima at reserve should clean up (if he turns up every week) Redcar don’t look as strong as last year, can’t see that side being a play off team. But they do have a very strong reserve pair. Likewise with Berwick they’ll be competitive especially at home, but will probably fall short of the play offs. Scunthorpe do look weak, but I’d imagine once they make changes once Pickering’s average drops they might become more competitive away. Workington have the best looking side since we’ve relaunched. Should be miles more competitive away from home in 2026, and I’m confident we can take that 4th spot again. 1st Glasgow 2nd Oxford 3rd Poole Plymouth/Edinburgh/Workington fighting for 4th. 7th Berwick 8th Redcar 9th Scunthorpe 3

They did look like they could make the playoffs for a chunk of the season, but let themselves down very badly on the road - but even then, the closest they got to winning was at Poole and Glasgow. A very enigmatic team.

CoffeeandTV
Oxford's top three power against Poole reserve power for the title, in my opinion. Those are the two teams that stand out, although I think it looks a more competitive league than we've seen in the last few seasons (3rd to 8th could be any order, with Scunthorpe last). 1. Oxford 2. Poole 3. Glasgow 4. Berwick 5. Plymouth 6. Redcar 7. Edinburgh 8. Workington 9. Scunthorpe
