Probably similar to last years Monday but worst then other years. Saw more fans from other tracks like Redcar etc this year probably being a Saturday, but was lot less Belle Vue fans, just in the small area I stand in could name 30 or so regulars that weren’t there. Mainly probably because of no Bewley and then being on ITV topped it off.

Thanks Rob sadly its a long way back (if even possible) to the 10k plus days at Coventry back in the 80's & 90's we do have a good crop of young riders coming through though, but guess as Lambert was expected to stroll it and in general a weak field it was a tough sell.

Don’t think we will see 10k crowd inGB again.Struggled to fill BV for GP and that was with percentage foreigners. That is the level of GB Speedway these days hit or miss if you will get a decent meeting at that level.Biggest problem is the younger riders won’t be hanging  around GB if they fulfill their promise.

30+ teams, who all pretty much had decent crowd levels that many would love today, meant the national domestic events had a fair old fanbase to pull from...

Just 15 teams, with nowhere near all of them getting even 1000 a week, is a lot less of a fanbase to deliver even high four figure crowds, never mind five figure crowds, for these events..

Edit. Just watched Dan T's Vlog and the winner gets just £1750!!!

Last gets £200..

Although it’s not helping his career you can see why he goes to Poland to sit in the Pits.

Just as caveat to folk heaping praise on Rushen i've seen a few comments in the past saying he's a bit of a throttle jockey and that might be why he did so well last night at Belle Vue, as to his 2 points at Armadale the night before.

Does anyone think being good on smaller, technical tracks matters these days and if not being so will hinder him ? As.....personally i think Will Cairns is actually.....well a better all round rider.....

Rushen was great last night don't get me wrong it was like watching Joe Screen back in 88/89.....but just wanted to know your opinions
