Triple.H.
2 hours ago, Welwyn said: I would agree. But I would keep the wild cards. The big advantage of the wild cards is that we don't lose a top 5 rider from next years Championship because of a previous season's injury. Bewley should not be missing from next year's Championship because he was injured and having the old style Challenge would exacerbate the need for them as anyone between 7th-14th who happens to pick up an injury JUST before the challenge would need one. Sorry, I should have worded it better, I didn't mean going away with the wildcard picks. It would still be 4 from the challenge. Two of the wildcards for 2027 are already picked in Dan Bewley and Fast Freddie, unless Freddie is back soon and gets into the top seven. racers and royals
Looks as if the 3 FIM/Mayfield wildcards for 2027 are already spoken for in Bewley, Jack Holder and Lindgren. they could get another one if the SEC winner is a GP rider who also finishes in top 7 in the GP final standings.

DJC
Surely Holder won't be fit? If he doesn't make it does one of the reserves step in or is it next highest scorer, I think was either Magic or Gusts?

Holder qualified from Glasgow so it’s likely to be Janowski as he was beaten in the run-off by Harris and Jakobsen.

Makes sense, thanks! Will be surprised if Lambert and MJJ do it if they have a decent result this weekend

MJJ/Lambert/Lebedevs/Woryna top 4 is feasible and then we're down to 8th potentially for a rider to qualify. And the line up ain't that good... TheSmiler
I can’t help but think we are about to see Chris Harris in the 2027 Grand Prix Series. 😂

If results go outside of existing SGP contenders Jacobsen might be the 'new blood' that many like to see.

Almost reminiscent of Andy Smith back in the day!!
