Those who felt it was unfair to drop him in the deep end of Premiership racing as it was detrimental to his development need not fear. He’s going to make a mockery of those thoughts. Quite agree, I see these lads as a pairing and they have been equally impressive so far, very different styles but both so quick for their age and experience. Jody's ride in heat 4 was so mature and Cooper took responsibility in heat 14 to ensure at least a draw. He was better against Northampton and great last night. I like his analysis of what needs to be done and the fact he implements it. I use to love his races over four laps with some spectacular last bend lunges. I’ll miss those but the positive is a Brit piling up the points from the start, a real modern day speedway rider.
