Well let’s be honest Mike he should be really or at least a paid max. He’s different gravy to anyone in the Ipswich team.

He went on to say that’s why he hasn’t tried to add to his seven British titles because it was at the NSS. On a smaller track he’d have given it another bash. As part of a larger interview - this was at the time when discussions on weight were going around. I think it's partially an excuse. On his day he can still mix it there, the PO final at the end of 2021 I'll bet Bewley & all had wished he had no pace 😁 4. Scott Nicholls - 1, 3, 3, 3, 3, 1' = 14+

I’m still not buying the not trying due to GP line, it’s just lazy reporting on the part of BSF and another tedious attempt to have a go. If you are going to level that accusation then you MUST address the KO Cup earlier and the fact he ran five races in the league campaign without beating an opponent. During all four meetings at Foxhall last year our top two scored 27 each. They got paid 27 between them in the previous play off final away at Leicester so it’s safe to say their performance were poor last year but, it was against a once in a blue moon title winning team. Jason Edwards gated and beat Dan last season. I’m not expecting that now that Coleman is here as looking at updates the racing has improved. The cartels desire for gate’n’go speedway is gradually lessening and it only helps with people like Coleman jumping into our rocking boat. If things continue to improve I can see myself returning for the first time since early 2022.

Baldyman
Because the weather looks iffy, the track will be prepped slick and hard, so I'm leaning towards an Aces win, Kerr in particular likes a slick Foxhall and could be the Aces trump card

Good luck as the racing has been worse this season and the track looks worse Kurtz has gone well at Foxhall many times …. And sometimes doesn’t but don’t kid yourself into thinking his poor score in the play off wasn’t anything to do with the GP…
Aries
https://ipswichwitches.co/edwards-loving-life-with-tru7-group-witches-ahead-of-belle-vue-clash/ Meeting preview “The other thing that has been really good with Ipswich is if Andrew or Richard say they are going to do something, the following week, it has been put in place. That never happens in speedway. Everything they are doing they follow through on. From the start of the year to now, there have been big improvements. It will keep getting better, especially for the fans.”
TB1
Just to clarify, if indeed as I couldn't find it on the club site. Did they say they were going to put a permanent big screen on bends 3 and 4?

They’ve clearly made a very good impression on the riders particularly who haven’t been short of praise for the way they’re handling things. The insurance issue being the biggest one. That won’t have gone unnoticed to riders everywhere and you’ll now find the new promotion won’t be short of offers from riders asking to ride for them. Riders will now be aware it’s a place where they’ll be well looked after and the promotion will deserve the rewards from that. Early days still of course, but it’s been an excellent start from them so fair play to them. Edited 14 hours ago by Steve Irving

Being able to glance up and watch a replay of incidents that you couldn’t quite see in realtime or simply a replay of an excellent race/overtake is excellent for supporters.

I like it that the team manager appears calm and collected when interviewed and 5 wins out of 7 is a great start.

GeneralMelchett
Hopefully this will go ahead - its overcast and some rain is forecast but not enough to cause a postponement IMO!
marko
Surely this will be called off, can’t expect riders to race on a track with moisture in it, they are to used to riding on dust bowls.

The screen is fabulous for replays and interviews filling the gaps in the action perfectly. The more clubs take this idea on board the better.
