Made the gate and was superb, miss it and you could forget it. Klindt is another one. Scored 20 plus 1 from 7 at Coventry for Eastbourne but was pretty average in his next meeting at Arlington. Werner wouldn't pass a 3.00 reserve if he missed the gate. Wato in his last year or two was the ultimate gating tart but after the amount of season ending injurys he went through who could blame him, before that he could pass the best of them anywhere. steve roberts Posted yesterday at 06:45 AM Report Share Posted yesterday at 06:45 AM Troy Batchelor who once apparently admitted that if he missed the gate he didn't attempt to pass?

Sadly missed but his legacy lives on!

My parents were Birmingham fans, and I'm sure I remember them telling me that one Bank Holiday the Brummies were away somewhere in the afternoon and Finn scored a maximum, and then in the return fixture at Perry Barr in the evening he scored one! 1

Or the occaision when he overtook Ole Olsen, who was in his pomp as World Champion; then someone at the back fell off. In the restart, Finn overtook Olsen again. But Ole was the only one Finn seemed to want to impress.
