Gate and win, don't gate and settle... Especially on those "technical tracks" in the UK that seemingly you need to race on to be a World Champion... These lads on huge contracts are racing against school kids on some of these circuits... I can understand their thinking when deciding how much risk to take... They are getting good gaurenteed money for just turning up though, they don’t have try a leg if they can’t be bothered it’s just very good pocket money.Probably pays their Mechanics and Tuners wages for the season.
