Aces vs Tigers 25/05/2026 12:00 PL R1

Today's fixtures, or this one and return later shows how much the sport has declined in the UK. I seem to remember some of the Bank Holidays had a full league programme in both leagues.

I've heard it all now, the woman asking the questions on BVTV to Zach Cook after his last race... "ate you making any changes to your setup for tonight" 😂

If you've got nothing meaningfully interesting to ask, don't ask anything at all... may as well have asked him what he's having for his dinner!

Jack Holder has had a stinker this afternoon and really cost his team big time.

And me ninety quid....

:D

No longer follow Sheffield to every home and away so by picking and choosing looks like this meeting was a good one to miss.  Holder jnr goes missing again at NSS so good job Holder snr turned up or Sheffield could have been handed theirs on a plate by Belle Vue.

jack had a good pay day yesterday, just keeping safe, was a fast track today..

Just had a very quick glance, and race-winning times don't look any different from other meetings this season - perhaps the surface was more unpredictable?

PS: Owlerton isn't fast?!?! 😂

Got this spot on lol

The 3 guests got 22 between them and only twice this season have the 3 they replaced got more at home

Thomson matched Blodorn

Sedgeman didn’t do much

Lidsey and Cook both got double figures

The Belle Vue reserves got more than Sheffield but only just

Can’t see how anyone thought Sheffield were favourites

Will be different tonight I would guess and Sheffield may get the bonus point

I guess those who made Sheffield favourites expected alot more from Jack Holder.Had he turned up the scoreline would have been alot closer no doubt.

Shocking from Jack Holder and Flint need a huge response tonight

So not think these GP boys are just taking the p#ss out of GB Speedway watching Holder over the weekend beating all the world stars with ease.He he turn up here and can’t be bothered.R and R must have him under 4for the GPs at Manchester 😂😂😂

Didn't he get a six figure signature fee in Poland?

And £2k a point?...

Given the "punishment" for getting injured in another league, I would also be very "cautious" when riding over here. .

£2K a point, so £20K for 10 points?

But they still keep signing them...

The top tier is vital for the credibility and integrity of the sport according to Mr Lemon..

Hate the game, not the player..

Even though he cost me £90 today...:D

Yes...

And some get more...

Doyley got over £40k last year for one meeting...

Whether they paid up might be a different matter...:D

You can understand why some riders won't take any undue risks..

Gate and win, don't gate and settle...

Especially on those "technical tracks" in the UK that seemingly you need to race on to be a World Champion...:D

These lads on huge contracts are racing against school kids on some of these circuits...

I can understand their thinking when deciding how much risk to take...

To be fair, come play off time, most will bring their A Game ..

Money has always been there in Poland for a while. When I worked with Adam Shields he top scored in an away meeting that Leszno won, they gave him 2 brand new engines for that performance and Thats going back a good few years now.

Jeez when you look at those numbers you have to give them credit for riding here at all for relative buttons in comparison.
