Really don't know why we didn't get dates in July for our aways at Poole and Oxford during the Danish summer break. Something we did last year. Yeah i was surprised they didnt do that when i saw the fixture list. I think Worky did from my very poor memory.

SharpenRake
Just had a look at the comments on the updates forum. Can't believe the comments from non Tigers fans. They seem to think Glasgow will get 30 + points or even more
TheWellBehavedWorrall
“FTG” or “X passes X on B2 L1”.😂 We’re rubbishe, but when the champions are serving up this sort of racing on a weekly basis, what chance has the sport got?

Glasgow (the fans) deserve better obviously it would be great if Cami were to go (he does make some bloody odd calls) but maybe they missed a trick when let Dan Thompson go, should it really have been Harris? I know Harris brings plenty as a Captain beyond points, and can on the odd occasion still match most top championship riders, but Dan is on the up and he now makes Edinburgh a more formidable team too. Just a thought?!*# Tigers were always bringing Bomber back for entertainment value around Ashfield. Once the one rider over 8 came in Dan was a certainty to miss out. Also his average came from riding at 3, not 1 or 5, so there was a little bit of a risk in that, however Dan seems to have stepped up this year. Bomber's issues this year seem to be bike/engine related (not heard anything publicly re his lower than normal scoring). He has just not looked as quick as last year
therefused
Is this Poole team actually too good? Might as well award them the trophy now to be honest

Might as well award them the trophy now to be honest Lets be honest as soon as they got them two youngsters in at 6 and 7 barring injuries it was game over, normally to get one rider who can add four points to his starting average should win you the league let alone two. Throw in Lawson who is one of the top three riders in the league, Zach Cook who is to good now for the championship by far, Kerr who is capable of getting anywhere between 3 and 15 on a standard night, Newman who has ridden above expectations and being blessed in not having Bowes available which has strengthened them. Any team who got them two lads at reserve, so long as the promoter had even a tad bit of ambition was going to win the league baring injuries it's just as well they didn't get Beau Bailey for Bowes in the end as that would have been another possible 8 point rider coming in on 4 starting average.
TheWellBehavedWorrall
Well done Pirates. I think it’s safe to say they can start engraving ‘POOLE’ on to the KO Cup, BSN Series and Championship trophies now. An embarrassing night for us. Good to see Harris back in amongst the point, as I’ve found myself saying after every most meetings: “what chance do you have when”… your two-times and reigning British U21 champion doesn’t score a single point from five rides, Howarth can’t exceed the number on his race suit in points, etc. What’s the solution? It’s outright underperformance.

Nail on the head Cairn's, Rushden and Scott are the three best English youngsters by a country mile, Hagon has probably found his level alternating between reserve and second string but the other three so long as properly handled should be core England squad members for many years to come once they hit early - mid twenties. All at some point should also all be potential gp riders.
Pirates Of Poole
Well done Poole, apart from Bomber Glasgow look poor. Can’t really make changes as would need to release a HL, think they will struggle to make the playoffs this year.

Hagon is I think worse now than when he was a Pirate, there has to be a better rider available. The play-offs seem a long shot for the Tigers this year.

We don’t look poor we are poor, but everything will be alright once Cami gives us all his appraisal on how unlucky we were but at least the racing was fantastic. Obviously there was no truth in the fantastic racing part of my sentence. Edited 1 hour ago by Gazc
