Only a handful of away fans at each meeting while Poole would have bought down a lot of fans and vice versa. But there is clear lethargy in the Pirates camp. Clear for fans to see. Worst effort I have seen in many seasons. In fact since Brady Kurtz and Jack Holder went on the piss the night before we rode at Ipswich in the 2019 playoff semi final second leg. Presumably with Denmark taking priority on Wednesday over a Pirates fixture which had been added to the calendar Lawson couldn't have been at Poole anyway. Just one of those unfortunately. Certainly not a 'disgrace' and Cooper incredibly unfortunate to be chucked out. Etheridge made himself look a proper plank afterwards. Dumping Dan Gilkes unceremoniously with indecent haste in favour of the rejected Kyle Newman .... little sympathy for the promotion on that one. Billy Cairns off in a circus qualifier 😞 Gust failed to deliver even on a Poole's pay. Copper Rushen ... that's 2 referees in 4 days he has got on the wrong side of. one at home one away. I cannot comment. My only video footage shows the lad's recent altercation with Luke Harrison. Coooper "boring" down the backstraight and he should have been excluded then. Presumably it wasn't that serious as he was well involved at Belle Vue, and clearly it wasn't a non-speedway injury otherwise he'd have been banned (right?). Not sure you can go around trying to punch 16 yr olds. Although trying to punch someone as they ride past is pretty dumb in the first place.
