34-26 to Scunny after heat 10

Fantastic ride by Luke Harrison to beat Scott Nicholls in heat 9

Nicholls has been embarrassing, with no King we would always have struggled but losing to Harrison and Ablitt is shocking. To be fair it was a massive mistake giving him the tactical. Tate has been our best rider along with Thompson

I’m a neutral but love seeing the Scorpions proving everyone wrong, I’ve been enjoying their streams and it’s great to see the young British riders progressing.  Good rides and scores again tonight for Luke Harrison, Nathan Ablitt and Ryan Ingram who some people said was the weakest 2 pointer in the league before the lad had even turned a wheel, proving again tonight how wrong people were.

That's a bit extreme, Ablitt and Harrison are good at Scunthorpe.

Away from Scunthorpe he is yes he’s averaging 1.83 on the road compared to the 5.40 at home.

Harrison was always going to improve, Ablitts problem has always been he’s been awful everywhere other than the EWR but his away form has improved this year.

Been very hard to see news of this match from Plymouth.

Announced they were looking for a guest for King, on their website announced r/r but nothing on FB.

Then this morning, still hadn't seen the result posted by Plymouth?

Especially at a time then the Speedway GB site appears to be having issues (not posting results).

The BSPL stated that live updates would be available via the referee's scorecard. They were for the other two matches yesterday. So, assuming the match did have a referee, why no updates, and no results from any of yesterday's matches?

SCUNTHORPE 57: Josh Pickering 13, Luke Harrison 11, Nathan Ablitt 10+1, Michael Palm Toft 8+1, Connor Mountain 7+1, Ryan Ingram 7+2, Dan Gilkes 1.

PLYMOUTH 33: Tate Zischke 10+2, Joe Thompson 10, Scott Nicholls 6, Daniel Klima 4+1, Anze Grmek 3+1, Tom Spencer 0, Danny King R/R.

Scunthorpe win the aggregate point

Taken from Scunthorpe's website although I'm sure it should be Ben Whalley and not Tom Spencer

People might say Scott shouldn’t be losing to youngsters but why not? When Scott was young he would have beat much older riders and now he is well into his 40s the same is happening, that’s why most used to retire, because they could no longer keep up with the kids, except in this country we have too few kids so the old timers are not under the same pressure and can ride for longer without them looking like a shadow of their younger selves.

Scott is still a very good rider and riders of Scott’s age look after themselves much more than back in the day but age will catch up to you eventually, look at Serena Williams in tennis, knocked out of Wimbledon in straight sets.

Why would you expect the new live updates service direct from the referees box to be working at the track run by the chairman of the BSPL? 😂
