The lad should have a big career ahead of him if he stays level headed, Cairns, Rushton, Harrison and Scott should be the core England world team cup squad in years ahead sadly as we are so far behind Poland these days talented as those four UK lads are we probably still won't be able to lay a glove on the young poles who are there to meet them when the time comes. Deltalima
Cairns is a young man who as stated is making steady progress in his career. I was shot down by other members stating he shouldn’t miss league meetings for SGP commitments but Will and all the other young brits are our future stars. Riding in Europe can only improve their growing skills.

Riding in Europe can only improve their growing skills. 100% they do.. However, the FIM meetings are in the calendar well in advance so it shouldn't be beyond the capability of mankind to plan UK Speedway meetings around them... And if the riders don't qualify to the next stages then that would leave "blank" evenings to arrange a previously called off fixture, should they need to do so.. The sport in the UK is dying through far too many self inflicted cuts... Many of which could be avoided,. Having one of your young "starlets" unavailable due to your own planning is only going to make that meeting less attractive to pay to watch.. And UK Speedway can ill afford putting up any possible barriers to prevent people to attend.. Edited 13 minutes ago by mikebv
