King 100% won't be there and unless his scores reduce massively he may even find it hard getting in somewhere else

Mayfield will be ruthless with team building for 2027, very few from this year will be back

Althought early days I can see something like

1. New Rider 8.00

2. New Foreigner 4.50

3. Brennan or Musielek

4. Rew/Ellis

5. Doyle

6. Rushen

7. RS

I think both Musielek & Brennan will be back. Might see Rew back but other than that I think it will be new blood.

It would be crazy to let Brennan go after a poor season.

Much depends on the team building limit of course

If they plan for a GP no.1 and we factor in that Doyle may no longer be a GP rider come next year but they fit him in at no.5 as a fan favourite, then you will likely have to choose between Musielek and Brennan - there is not a chance that you will keep both and may come down to have the lower average to aid the rest of the team building.

Perhaps Brennan may also feel he may be best on a bigger track such as Sheffield or Belle Vue depending on rider movement - so many things can happen between now and then but 100% believe that there will be 3 maximum of the current Witches side back next year

Is he starting his main job earlier so gets away as early as he can?..

Remember. This is a sport (in the UK), where riders can lose their jobs each season, (sometimes even during the season), for doing their job "too well"...

Therefore, I am not sure fans should expect, (or be surprised), if riders don't show any major emotional attachment to any of their (sometimes many), teams..

Nor fans be bothered if riders don't get too attached to team mates, who tomorrow may be a rival, and then the night after a team mate again, or again a rival, if either, (or even both), get guest bookings..:D

Personally I clear off as soon as the first rider completes Ht15 to try and get home as quick as I can, and many, many others do the same, (I would say the majority of fans there do it)....

I wonder if the riders complain that we should all stay until they have gone around on the tractor?...:D

This coming from a guy who only turns up for his club in the play off season. Just becuase you don’t support your club very well and expect nothing back don’t put us all in your bracket 😂

I suggest he sticks to his main job only and stops riding for Ipswich. Majority of fans I spoke to in Ipswich don’t like him and he doesn’t like the club clearly. If this was an actual job he would have been on a final warning by now for breaking multiple company policies 😀

Most of the riders on the domestic scene don't like Lawson never mind what the actual fans think

These lads are self employed, and, incredibly, can lose a contract for doing more than what was expected of them...

So, for me, it's completely understandable if some do have little time for those who have contracted them..

You certainly don't have to like those you work for, or with...

And many of the DU'ers are the only reason plenty of tracks exist at the level they do...

Due to two tracks sharing their costs...

If the DU'ers decided "it was no longer worth it", then there wouldn't be much left would there?..

"Turn up, do your job on the track, and go home"..

That would be a fair expectation I would suggest .

I’m not sure what you’re getting at, you do realise they are self employed when they ride in Poland to? but they dare not go against the grain for fear of losing their jobs. For him, if he only sees this a a second job, I suggest getting a second job elsewhere and not in Ipswich if you can’t show respect to the paying fans that come to watch their club. Just remember, he is a lucky boy, in Poland, and this has happened before… all points from your match are removed if you do not stay until the end and fulfil your duties.

I have a theory, Lawson is crying and sad that the owners of Ipswich are all for stopping the double uppers, and this will p!ss on his parade and his easy money in the UK for 2027 onwards. He shows no respect to the club so they should show him no respect and remove him from the squad. If Ipswich didn’t take him on he wouldn’t have enough money to double up for Poole, remember that.

And your last comment said “turn up, do your job and go home”. So you are agreeing then it’s not acceptable when he “turns up, doesn’t do his job, and leaves before the meeting ends”?
