Glasgow Tigers Vs Poole Pirates 21st August

Likely to be a crucial match in determining who tops the League. Glasgow use two guests Anders Rowe in for Kyle Howarth and Anze Grmek for Mario Hausi. While Poole use rider replacement for Cooper Rushen.

It's a great track for competitive racing, ought to be a fantastic night. But who will win on the night. Poole won 55-35 in the reverse fixture, so who gets the bonus point?

So should Poole be allowed RR because Rushen has opted out when others haven't?

Skidder seems to think as Cooper was a late call up he couldnt get the travel sorted in time to do Glasgow and the u24 thingy.

Also was thinking, is there a requirement for one of them to attend practice? Or is that not a thing any more?

Hopefully Glasgow keep it respectable. Poole look solid throughout so hopefully Hagon and Hodder can improve on last week.

Somebody on Facebook suggests that Lewis Kerr has injured himself this evening, can anyone confirm?

Not sure why they think that. He had a race win and 3 retirements. It was wet apparently so probably just trying to stay in one piece!

Looking forward to this, but gutted Rushen won’t be riding.

Can’t see past a Pirates win. They’re so strong from top to bottom and even without Rushen, don’t have any weak spots. I think our best hope is that Lightcap and Newman struggle.

Don’t rate Rowe who is a serious downgrade on Howarth IMO, but I hope I’m wrong and that he can carries his British final form into tonight.

We need a massive improvement from Hagon and Hodder if we’re to take anything from the meeting.
