Good choice in Klindt I think. Can trap and win races around there. Never know with him though, could either be a match winner or completely crap. 
 

Unrealistic to hope for a win, but the bonus should be a realistic target. 50-40 in the reverse fixture so anything under a 10 point defeat will be a successful evening.

Provided they can prove they’ve been trying to get a replacement, the facility can be extended.

Totally disgusting, no wonder people give up on the sport. I was considering going to this but won't be planning any other trips given how easily they call meetings off. Probably looked at the Ipswich side and didn't fancy it.

Not sure about this one, we've had a lot of rain over the past few days and a few heavy showers earlier but I can't believe it was already that waterlogged. I'm a mile and a half away and it’s cloudy but dry.

Doesn't make sense, multiple people here said hardly rained, British cycle speedway championships  at Leicester lots of photo/video showing its dry, 
they haven't got a spare Monday/Thursday to rearrange this now, why call off a bank holiday meeting?

I've been told it was OK until "a rogue downpour tipped it past the point if raceable". Must have been pretty waterlogged already if that finishes it off so early.

As has been suggested before ..

Any meeting called off gets one point each to the teams and doesn't get ran at a later date, and no bonus point gets awarded for those section of home and away meetings..

If they were the rules I would suggest many, many more meetings would take place that currently get called off now...

With the riders themselves being the main ones pushing for the meeting to take place given each meeting lost is a pay day lost too...

Now if I was losing £10k a meeting and my riders were carrying injuries or with-holding that might just work and save me a few quid but as I'm not in that position I'll go with your suggestion and not get my ego confused with my integrity 😉

So, it seems after the longest and driest summers since nineteen canteen, a six team league will struggle to fulfil their fixtures before the current play off dates and so will loose my money should we (Ipswich) make it because I stupidly booked a holiday. How on earth did we fit in 28-30 meetings a season?

Those "last gasp" meetings before the cut off date often show the "integrity" involved ..

With a good many down the years taking place on tracks that would have seen a call off in the months before..

"We just need to get to Heat 10"...😀

Amazing how the date of a meeting can suddenly make tracks rideable...😁

If only this country ever got some decent weather from say April to August, the fixture compilers could have at least a chance of fitting in so few meetings in so many weeks!!!

Some are saying about 8 heavy showers today, others who live just as close to the stadium are saying just 1 short shower. I know who I believe.

Very dodgy to call off so early. Should be investigated and Leicester punished.

It will not happen. Those that run clubs and decide when to race are in control and the punters can go screw themselves as not one promoter or club owner gives a fig as far as supporters are concerned. It will not happen but clubs like these second rate businesses deserve to be boycotted and frankly UK speedway is not what it was when clubs were run by professionals and not the cowboys who seemingly think they are the future of the sport when in reality they are bringing it to its knees. To every promoter, the message is ‘you are shisters’ and you would not have survived back in the day when the sport had a modicum of respectability but each one of you have brought the sport to its nadir. I hope you are all proud of your efforts because few if any supporters believe you have the sports interest at heart. Thankfully real supporters have credible options to follow and the UK features way down the rankings when it comes to following this once great sport.

It was more than one in the Leicester area, and one was particularly heavy around 12.30. Let's be fair and say we don't know how the track was before that happened as there has been some monster downpours over the past few days and we know the Leicester track doesn't drain as well since the alterations.

There have been plenty of shysters in this sport over the last 100 years, not all of them recent!

Was at the cycle speedway in Leicester & looking forward to seeing the Speedway afterwards.

While it rained at times, they just got on with it. Almost looks bad for Speedway that an amateur sport with brushes can get a track ready, but a professional sport with tractors etc can't?
