Brennan really is a disappointment this season and Édwards doesn't seem to do well when the track is slicker. Ipswich's reserves will cost them in the play offs if they get there. Sheffield were up for it and Everyone knew they were in a fight and gave it their all. Everyone that is apart from Edwards who was shocking. Throttling off before he even got to the bend. I don't believe they try any less here - UK speedway is actually quite difficult due to the variety of tracks which are not as easy to ride as those in Poland but there is definitely less at risk if they have a poor race/score. A few of the riders have been having a whinge that it’s different every week they go there, why? They stumbled upon a formula that works last night either through luck of judgment, stick with it! Agree, although weather obviously plays a part in that. A bit of rain forecast for Thursday so highly unlikely to get the prep exactly the same. I'd stick with Edwards - but why replace the second best rising star (based on 2026 Premiership all match average exc bonus) with one who would be overmatched by all the existing Rising Stars. I don’t know the exact stats, but my guess is Mulford is better statistically than Edwards at Foxhall. Mulford rides Foxhall well. It’s a moot point anyway.
