Some good racing tonight. Full credit to a depleted Sheffield. Tobi really is a joy to watch and it’s great to see him enjoying himself again

Looking at the table I presume Lynn have to win both their remaining matches to catch us?

Excellent meeting tonight, Lawson really tried his hardest in heat 13 and was a great race with Picko. Brennan really is a disappointment this season and Édwards doesn't seem to do well when the track is slicker. Ipswich's reserves will cost them in the play offs if they get there. 

Picko in heat 15, ha, gave up on lap 1, I'd be unimpressed if I was a tigers fan or manager.

these guys known where the bread is buttered.Look at Blodorm beating World Stars in Poland last night,but just making sure he is Ok for next week in Poland( Team Orders no doubt).

Excellent meeting. Plenty of passing, best of the season by far and all done in 85 minutes.

Sheffield were up for it and Everyone knew they were in a fight and gave it their all.

Everyone that is apart from Edwards who was shocking. Throttling off before he even got to the bend.

Are there any options to replace Edward’s?  I like the guy but he is not showing much premier league form.  We could do with 2 new reserves

I don't believe they try any less here - UK speedway is actually quite difficult due to the variety of tracks which are not as easy to ride as those in Poland but there is definitely less at risk if they have a poor race/score.

Tuned in to this, cracking meeting! Both the inside AND the outside were working well in terms of passing potential. Proves there’s nothing wrong with the shape, it’s all down to preparation. Why can’t they be consistent with it? A few of the riders have been having a whinge that it’s different every week they go there, why?

They stumbled upon a formula that works last night either through luck of judgment, stick with it!

Agree, although weather obviously plays a part in that. A bit of rain forecast for Thursday so highly unlikely to get the prep exactly the same.

Plenty. But your best bet would be Mulford or Pijper. I'd stick with Edwards - but why replace the second best rising star (based on 2026 Premiership all match average exc bonus) with one who would be overmatched by all the existing Rising Stars.

Probably due to home scoring. I don’t know the exact stats, but my guess is Mulford is better statistically than Edwards at Foxhall. Mulford rides Foxhall well. 
 

It’s a moot point anyway. Mayfield won’t be dropping Edwards at this stage.

Just watched this back, good to see Lawson looking happy in the pits and seemingly getting on very well with general manager Andrew Chisholm. IF there was any issue there, certainly looks like it’s been resolved.

Best meeting of the season by far with plenty of passing. Lawson and Pickering had a real ding dong battle in Heat 13 which Lawson just couldn't make stick. Killeen look fast (which was a more than I can about our rising star who looks to have no confidence at Foxhall) if a little unsteady at times and done well to remount after his fall. The racing did not seem rushed but still finished at a decent time. Love watching Tobi hang of the bike and was flying again. I feared the worst in heat 14 but Tom and Kevin done good. Lovely touch by the Sheffield riders to go and thank their fans for their support. And a nice touch by the promotion to give season ticket holders a free programme albeit 3 weeks old.

Do you think some riders in this league are potentially not as bothered about a poor night as they would be if they did not have the fall back of racing in the Championship?
