Shaleshifter
On Wednesday the Pirates take on the Monarchs in the 1st Leg of the playoffs semi final, hoping to build up a reasonable lead to take to Armadale on the Friday. The Pirates won convincingly in the Bsn semi final, winning by 30 points, but in the league it wasn't so easy coming out eventually with a 14 point win. The Monarchs have riders who can produce the goods at Wimborne Road like DanT and Kye T add in Paco and Sedgy and Mitchell Cluff who got 14 points in the league meeting It won't be be easy. Anything can happen on the night but Poole will need all 7 riders to be on it from heat one. Thoughts?

bluejam
As I'm on holiday in the New Forest this coming week,I'll make a visit to Wimborne Rd this coming Wednesday. Is admission cheaper if you purchase in advance or is it the same at the turnstiles on the evening of the meeting? There is a 75p booking charge per ticket if you buy tickets on line, better off paying on the night Edited Sunday at 07:48 PM by Arthur54 1 1

Poole are the best team. I dont rate glasgow who have finished 2nd either.

I think Edinburgh will give us a good test, its not all about gating it is just we have better riders. 1

I'm looking forward to Wednesday, both teams at full strength and no guests would be a rare treat. Even the weather forecast is good, let's go racing.
Paddy The Rebel Posted yesterday at 12:33 PM Report Share Posted yesterday at 12:33 PM Think Poole 53-55 pts for tomorrow night fairly comfortable win and reckon a small loss away and get through without to much strain.

nagy1
Easy win tonight and on aggregate for the Pirates. Much deserved league win this year coming up.

So it was 52-38 in the league meeting when Poole had Sam Hagon (3+2) guesting at reserve. and Edinburgh's Mitchell Cluff scored 14 from 7. Lets go for 54-36 tonight. Mr Blobby
Need to hit a minimum of 40 to have a chance of getting to the final, however I think realistically we will probably score about 34/35.
Bitza
So now with Kyle Thomson at 1 and Dan Thompson at 5, is it going to make any difference? Certainly not a game changer, but I would like to see the Rocketman win Heat 1 kind of lays down a marker.
