Flint will be back, 100%. This stint at number one is somewhat of an audition for next season, IMO.

Harris and Hodder? Maybe. I think there are good arguments for an against.

Hausl, Juhl Pedersen and Hagon, no chance. Hausl and Hagon in particular have been huge disappointments while despite contributing more, KJP has flattered to deceive. Factoring in the costs associated with mobilising two international riders in Hausl and KJP, it’s been a waste of money and a terrible decision from a financial perspective.

I’d love to see Nagel back and I wouldn’t be surprised if the Zischke rumours are true.

Really rate Reid Battye too, but read he’s committed to Berwick for 2027.

No chance of Nagel coming back unless you go Premiership. His talent and the level he is now at is above the Championship. And his preference will be Denmark over the UK anyway due to his personal sponsors.

I imagine you’re correct, but from what I recall, Allied Vehicles turnover £350M+ and generate £10M+ profit per annum, so hopefully we throw some money at him.

He’s also good friends with Hodder (I was told they went on holiday together recently), so there’s an added bonus; riding with your mate.

I wouldn't mind the spine of the team being something like this next season -

1. Flint - should only only continue to improve

3. Harris - Mr Tigers, Mr Entertainer and all out racer

5. D Thompson - get him back, rides Ashfield well and should be back in the stripes of Glasgow

I'd maybe keep Juhl Pedersen as I think there is a rider in there and should kick on next year + doubling up with Ippo will have done him no harm. And yeah, if Tate Zischke can avoid injuries - he can easily improve his average and rides Ashfield well.

What points limit are you working to? The five you mentioned probably come to over 36. We really need a line up with two heat leaders and two strong reserves, rather than our obsession with top heavy teams

Yes your owners have the money but for any business man you can't just throw large amounts of money at things without standing back wondering if it's worth it 🤔

None yet, lol! Just something I would not mind seeing on paper, but I fully appreciate that points limit for next season has not been confirmed yet and that this is another top heavy team. However it is easier said that done to try to get two strong reserves, as I remember the team we had in 2011 - with Raj, Morris, Theo and Christian all having a stint at reserve! Battye is already signed up for 2027. Could we pinch Anze Grmek?

The operational costs associated with running Glasgow Tigers will be pocket money to the Facenna’s.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Gerry is spending more importing cases of French wine than he is running a speedway team.

Aside from that, Allied Vehicles sponsoring the Tigers gives the Facenna’s a corporate tax-deductible avenue to take advantage of.

This isn’t a brag, by the way. We’ve invested heavily; from snatching Boughen from Oxford to substantial outplays on Hausl & KJP, but we’ve still struggled to compete with Poole. We’ve fallen short, despite the financial advantage.

Grmek is certainly one I would have on my radar for next season.

Wasn't there rumours points limit could be 38 next year ?

Surely they cannot keep diluting the quality of the Championship by lowering the points as the sport is already spiralling downwards. Would it not be better to increase it slightly and get rid of the 1 rider over 8pts rule.
