Only two teams to choose from in the semi-finals … agent Fricke did the perfect job to help his team fail to qualify, by reducing his average sufficiently to be a useful guest (and more employable in 2027). Failure that night has had a big knock on effect to a point where Sheffield were able to book Max Fricke to Guest instead of being left with a choice of R/R or a guest from Ipswich/Northampton. I don’t have a problem with guests Dave. They’re a necessary evil in the sport. Always have been. My problem is that Max Frickes season in this country had ended as well as his teams. To then be able to start it up again with a different club at this stage of it seems wrong. That’s why I called it a tin pot rule. If someone guested who hasn’t actually raced in the league this season, i.e lambert or whoever then although not ideal, would be acceptable.
