Didn't Ipswich sign the best RS in 2025?..

Never mind 2025, this season if you included the average of the RS only one team was over 40 points at the start whilst the rest were high 30’s. If you’ve been taken in by the repeated guff from the witches trolls, it would be the last team you’d think of.

Im sure its about stocks, but a lot of rumours down my way at the moment.

Be strange for stock car promoter to trail big announcement and for it to be about speedway. Surely the announcement has to be about reopening Arlington and details of first stock car meeting.

Compare Motorbikes

And so it proved. All about the return of stock cars. Speedway fans a bit naive thinking it would be about return of the Eagles.

I expect at least a 7 team prem next season😗

Maybe 7 teams but probably only 3 of them competitive. Unfortunately the sport in its current format I would suggest would fail to garner any meaningful tv deal.

Unfortunately nobody votes for change when the end result means shafting your own promotion.

Upskill Teams

Good question and the obvious one ready to go is Eastbourne. However, I'm sure that there are many on here far better qualified or in the knowledge to judge on that than me.

Think we’ve been on the same page about this in the past haven’t we Mike!

All well and good people saying we need more teams and ideally we do, but there just isn’t enough quality to stretch past more teams than we already have!

We potentially lost quality as we made it unaffordable for scores of riders who couldn't make it pay. I believe it was Dean Machine who pointed out the staggering numbers of in particular British riders lost to the sport in the last few years. Why do we keep going for quality in a vained attempt to keep a dwindling fan base.
