So do Poole put their prices up for Glasgow meetings? It was £13.99 on Wednesday. Pity Poole didn't have a camera to show what actually happened in heat 14. It showed what happened in heat 10 but the ref took the easy option. Glasgow did stream during Covid but the used an outside production company that were doing a lot of the Scottish football clubs streaming services. That was very expensive for them so they haven't done it since. It would be great if Glasgow did stream, then a lot more people would see the fantastic racing there, rather than the hundreds that attend meetings. No contest, best track in the UK. And I could see the meetings when I'm unable to attend Tapes Up have covered a few meetings over recent years maybe if enough Poole fans contact Glasgow about streaming KO Cup meeting then it will be. -

Hypothetically how many people would continue to watch the same or potentially more matches if the sport became streaming only and no live fans? Before im lynched hypothetically..... A regular attendee could watch twice as many matches and still be better off due to saving on food, drinks, transport etc Stadia would not need to be that just a track and pits somewhere industrial and with the lack of paying public have vast amounts of reductions in H&S requirements, red tape and insurances etc Tracks could even be located within large warehouses and therefore weather resistant Thoughts? -
To be honest there needs to be a way that in the event of the meeting being postponed any travelling supporters are entitled to a refund. That way you may encourage additional supporters to a travel. Yes you would still be out of pocket for the fuel & food etc but at least the admission fee would be coming back to you.

I would agree Plymouth is a good one, they are not all as good. - Today

Cami critical of the refs decisions which he claims all went against the Tigers, also the Poole fans especially those near to the pits who he claimed verbally abused the Glasgow riders. Shaping up nicely for a battle royale in the second leg.

Your original statement that "Sheffield is the most dangerous track in the league" is not borne out by historical statistics and is therefore misinformation. Like most teams, Sheffield has seen several of its home riders suffer injuries during recent seasons, but not once have those injuries been incurred at Owlerton. Rather odd considering they are riding at Owlerton week-in, week-out, don't you think? In the absence of evidence to the contrary, a retraction of your disgraceful and dishonest misrepresentation would be the appropriate measure.

Richard has always been a consistent points scorer.

It doesn’t affect Poole’s crowd. Yet there are up to 1000 people from all over the U.K. watching the Poole stream. There will be no more than a handful of Poole fans at Glasgow for the second leg but hundreds willing to buy a stream. Every other club is making good money streaming yet not Glasgow, who somehow think not streaming is the way to go. Plymouth have a very good streaming service, the same as Poole, with two commentators, several cams and a raving reporter in the pits. Must make quite a bit of money for the club. Used it several times this season. What’s the betting many Glasgow fans paid for the stream when they were at Plymouth? -
The thing is that people are looking at it from a spectator's mentality, not a rider's. They are adrenalin junkies and don't have the same concerns as the average person, otherwise they wouldn't race at all. Having raced on various tracks up and down the country (on 4 wheels, not 2), I can assure you that Sheffield is without doubt a challenging track, but also very exhilarating to race on. Yes, the riders will admit it is 'dangerous' but once they are out there that goes out of their mind, and getting a win at Sheffield will give any rider a kick.

Also were outstanding debt exceeds the value of the bond.

Yeah , not paying riders correctly breaches SCB regulations. Rules for some but not others it would seem.
-
I think its a bit late in the season to start playing around with rider pairings - just my opinion.

For those that maybe cannot get to the track or find it too costly, then a stream at the same price is crazy! Clubs see the stream as extra revenue from those opposition fans and others unable or unwilling to travel. Premiership clubs have the 'benefit' of TNT Sports coverage but still most of them offer their own stream when not on TNT! I think I'm right in saying that Glasgow are the only Championship club that do not offer a streaming service. Ok thats their perogative and maybe they don't need any extra income from opposition fans unable to visit, especially if they benefit from all stadium income. Shame really.......that is all.
