  1. Past hour
  2. Good result both danes looked good, vinnie after a poor first ride improved, tate tried hard which saw him fall, young jamie a little off the pace, but for the falls we could have won.the downside the first bend rut should have been noticed since the last meeting almost an hours delay saw some fans leaving.
  3. Just wondered if anyone can tell me if Nicki is racing for any clubs in 2026.Thanks
  4. The MPT doubters have gone quite, I would put my house on him putting something on his 6.1 average due to his home form been so good. Ingram looked good. Cooper Rushen looks a great prospect but may need to work on his gating. He and Cairns will probably win Poole the league, 5 or 6 point riders.
  5. Vinnies fall was nothing to do with the track. He's also on his way to hospital with a very swollen knee.
  6. I agree with this totally! If one of Harris, Kvech, Cook has an off night then I see a small Witches victory 🤷🏻‍♂️ around the 44-46/43-47 mark I know it’s easy to say but I’d have gone for Sedgmen over Castagna and probably Mulford over Scott… but what do I know? 😂 trust the process haha
  7. 😂 Might take a mental note of your name, so as to remember not to take a single thing you ever say seriously. An outrageously woeful perspective. Truly awful.
  8. Really enjoyed that. I think a draw was a fair result. We looked dead and buried at one point, but two Harris inspired advantages in heats 12 and 13 pulled us back into it. Tonight was a free pass for Hausl and Juhl Pedersen, given it was their first encounter with Armadale (a tricky track to navigate), so it was great to see them both contribute important points in heats 11 and 14. Flint being disqualified for the wind blowing the tapes against him was definitely revenge for us “accidentally” stopping that heat with Kye Thomson half a lap ahead of Harris at Ashfield.
  9. Today
  10. Glasgow had the better team manager today & that helped them to a draw. I said before heat 11, I didn't trust Cluff to beat Hausl, I'd have Loftus in 11, Cluff in 12, Loftus in 14, thinking Loftus was more likely to beat Pedersen than Flint? Then when Tigers used a tac sub, in 12 meant it would've been even more advantageous swapping the reserves round. Brilliant ride by Dan T in heat 15, to a draw, Monarchs fans may feel relieved to get a draw rather than bemoan throwing away an 8 points lead? Felt it showed there was no need for a "stupid heat", the heat 15 decider was exciting on its own & "stupid heat" could've been a from the gate anticlimax.
  11. Unfortunately Rob cannot commit to every meeting ☹️ luckily the PA is so bad in the main stand can't hear anything when bikes are running.
  12. 10.04.2026: Ekstraliga R1, Leszno v Częstochowa: https://vk.com/video-53550004_456242549 Wrocław v Zielona Góra: https://vk.com/video-53550004_456242550
  13. To be fair, Mario has only ridden speedway tracks before. Thankfully Ashfield is a speedway track.
  14. I think Woryna is a great addition to the GPs, he won’t challenge the top 8 as he is too erratic and inconsistent but he isn’t afraid to mix it with anyone including zmarzlik
  15. First of all I hope Vinnie isn't too beat up after lifting off the 4th bend and ploughing into the fence ( No tattie puns please 😉). Following a first ride where he struggled with the track he was much more competetive. Shame after superbly getting into a 5-1 behind Cookie and looking comfortable he lifted and couldn't get it down in time. This was always going to be a tough task but we were left rueing points thrown away when in good race positions. Niklas looks a real racer and I look forward to see him develop as he settles in to British racing. Signs are that consistency will be pivotal to our chances of competing at the sharp end. Well done the Bears who all chipped in. The 10 last places undid the Comets but there were some promising signs. UTC
  16. Oxford v Poole IS taking place next Wednesday - tickets on sale at Tickets – OXFORD SPEEDWAY
  17. A game of two halfs , to use an analogy…. First half is the reason the sport is dying, track issues due to incompetent track preparation and having to be told how to fix it by the previous track curator who left the role because of the owners ! Took an hour on a freezing evening to sort it without a-decent explanation to the crowd. We were viewing on the back straight, normally great viewing point, but dust was just too much after two races so had to move to the home straight instead. After the tractor racing fiasco the second half of the meeting was much better with the close score and Comets getting in the groove and could have won the meeting if not for Vinnies loop when on a 5-1. Cook back to his best, Jeppesen very good. Bears relied on Klindt and Allen saving the day with the rest inconsistent but did enough to win the meeting but probably not the bonus point. overhall the diehards would have enjoyed it but went home feeling the cold and needing a hot shower whilst any newbies wont be coming back anytime soon. Redcar need better more consistent track preparation. P.S. Parked on the public road this time, much safer for the car.
  18. Considering Cluff has ridden in Poland for a season, then Plymouth last year. Tonight, he certainly looked like he had never ridden a bike before. As for Glasgow. I would hazard a guess and say Hausl won't be around too long. Unless, of course, he shows a liking to Glasgows track.
  19. Just like over here. Football in Poland is by far and away the No 1 sport... It isn't Poland's fault that speedway, in the UK, isnt anywhere near the top 10 followed sports... That fault lies squarely with those who have ran the sport for the past twenty five years or so.. This sport had literally hundreds of thousands watching it in the UK in the 70's... Then it made some fundamentally very poor decisions... Decisions which haven't ever been changed over the past twenty years or so... It certainly isn't Poland's fault that the sport in the UK is now a Mickey Mouse entity...
  20. Was a fair result, Cluff looked like a novice as did Mario, Dan will be a good number 1 and his exploits in heat 15 nearly gave the Monarchs the win, he never gives up.
  21. I disagree, I think they should properly prep the track every time, that way if it gets on the track is set up for good racing, this match clearly wasn’t a good watch.
  22. A draw felt like a fair result overall I think. The tac sub changed the momentum certainly - I understand why the rule is there but the speedway purest in me dislikes it. That Glasgow side once they’re all up and running will take some stopping. If Flint stays as fast a he looked tonight that could be the difference. For Edinburgh, bit of a mixed bag and I’d love to see Sedgmen’s stats for ht15 over the past few seasons - I never think he’s going to pass anyone. I’d have Kye or even Paco in there ahead of him in heats like that tonight. Cluff won’t get long based on that showing. Jordy looked tentative early but found some speed as did Grahn. Thompson should be a solid no.1 and score well in most meetings.
  23. Ht7 the wind blows the tapes into Flint's front wheel despite him not moving, Flint excluded! Was it Willie Dishington tonight?
