Pretty dumb from both riders. I was standing on first bend and it looked like Cooper kicked Jye when the first crash happened. Cannot see how Jye could be excluded in the re run as the red lights were on fairly quickly when him and Cooper collided again ( was possibly looking at an all 4 re run).

Well done Berwick just seen the score. Fantastic yes Cairns was a miss but meh should be a good final.

A deserved win that was almost stolen away at the end. Good effort from all 1-7 chipping in with points which has been the problem this year. Probably would’ve been out of sight if it wasn’t for nicholls in the first 10 heats.

Yes confusing , all riders had 4 rides I think , only started filing programme out half way through busy doing other things

Craig Cook took the place of Mickie Simpson in Heat 18 ( off 15 metres but not sure why ?). But then Mickie Simpson took Cooks place in Heat 20. So they both ended up with having ridden the same number of rides each (4).

Most of scandanavians looked good , Charles Wright unbeaten in four rides. Vinnie Ford looked impressive slong with Gilkes. A long meeting because of the sunny windy weather which dried the track out quickly .

Congratulations to the Monarchs who thoroughly deserved the victory and were possibly value for a little more. Gladiators simply never got going. Only led once as I alluded to in the commentary and looked off it all night. Incredible support from the Monarchs fans and great to see the riders acknowledge that at the end. Great spirit between all fans at the end mingling and talking. Close competitive sport, good crowd, great weather - it's what it's all about. The Coliseum has once again served up a thrilling end to proceedings, shame the home side were on the wrong end of it this time around but still so much to play for. Scott Nicholls - Incredible performance. Ran out of adjectives for him.

My suspicion would be that he didn’t fancy the jaunt over to Denmark, maybe a plastering job overran.
