Heard it was now going to be in January. Hopefully delay is due to ironing out a TV deal - Today

Belle Vue Aces – A Night at the Ice Hockey
Diamonds85 replied to BarracudaAce's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
The view at Altrincham was awful. Not a Storm fan but I'm so glad they're out of that dump. The black mould growing all over the place was enough to put me off 🤢 -
1. Sam Masters 8.99 2. Sam Hagon 3.71 3. Kyle Howarth 8.08 4. Luke Killeen 6.03 5. Tom Brennan 8.64 6. Max Perry 2.52 7. Harry Fletcher 2.00 I’ll have a guess at the above, total 39.97

Everyone knows the points limit is 40, that was agreed last year and would run for 3 years so, My TEAM for 2027 HARRIS 7.92 THOMPSON 7.54 ROWE 6.38 FLINT 8.24 TOTAL 30.08 Add in a 4 pointer = 34.08 (e.g. SLATER LIGHTCAP is available on on 4 point average, as he hasnt had 6 league matches with Poole,if Poole let him go) NDL Rider 2 pointer = 36.08(e.g VALE,TRIGGER,NORMAN) Leaves 3.92 = (e,g, SMITH 3.04.FREDRIKSEN 3.48 ,RITCHINGS 3.16, GRMEK 3.56, FOORD 3.24) Of those 5 , I would take FOORD or SMITH Dont think HODDER will be there, Tigers management usually get rid of a reserve if he hasnt got out of the reserve berth or improved much after 2 - 3 years. ( e.g. ACE PIPJER, CONNOR BAILEY) -

AGM / 2027 UPDATE (23 October)
Teromaafan replied to Roger Jacobs's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
They are trying to arrange a meeting at which they will agree on a date for the AGM. -
Be awesome if Belle Vue have secured Pawelczak, that’s absolutely the calibre of rider you’d hope the new u21 rules would/could attract over the channel to uk shores. Hope it comes to fruition

Flint is 8.25, Thompson is 7.55, Rowe is 6.39, Hodder is 3.31 and Harris is 7.93. Plus Grmek who is 3.56. Leaves 3.01. Annoyingly Jack Smith is 3.04 which would've rounded the team off nicely. -
I hope not. His average was worse than Mario Hausl, and Grmek spent more time at reserve than Hausl did
-
And Howarth

I would rather take a chance on a new 4.00 and a new 2.00 (unless Max Perry has unretired) than Grmek. Grmek had a lower average than Mario Hausl (and no one seems to want him back) and he spent more time at reserve than Hausl -

Scunthorpe 2027

Think Jake Allen and Palm Toft in the engine room would be a very good move. -
For me it looks like it’s heading this way, just my opinion though! Time will tell, another signing to be announced next Wednesday! Josh Pickering 10.64 Dan Gilkes 4.45 Michael Palm Toft 6.05 Connor Mountain 5.25 Tate Zischke 6.54 Vinnie Foord 3.30 Ryan Ingram 3.55

Don’t really think it could get much worse than this season, pal. The old trackrat has a very valid point about you.

Flint 8.24 Grmek 3.56 Thompson 7.54 Rowe 6.38 Harris 7.92 (3.06) Hodder 3.30 36.94 leaves 3.06 Feel if Glasgow down the 4.00 assessed route that leaves 2.36 spare, feel that looks the stronger route, rather than Hodder and a 3.00 rider. -

Really Dean? He’s on an 8.08 average. If you could have two of three between Doyle, Bewley, and Musielak to be your one and five, which two would you pick?
-
Totally agree. Two good signings too start the team for 2027, I wonder who’s next?
-
Sorry not to see Tobi back, best of luck wherever you ride in 2027!
-
Sounds like the premier League (men)
-
Musielak out of Ipswich, you would of thought he would be top of their list but obviously not
-
They do get judged against the mans game, which is ludicrous given the difference in capability... They are also not helped by the incessant media hype and coverage which tells everyone that it is great, and only sexists wouldn't see that.... An incredible amount of mainstream media coverage too, which doesn't reflect its size or stature, coverage UK Speedway would kill for.. As for the standard? My lad, when 16, (six years ago), and in a League One teams Academy played a one half friendly game against a Woman's Super League team and won the 45 mins 3-0... And it could have been much more given the physical differential, and speed difference, between the two teams..
