  1. Past hour
  2. Now this really does deserve a whinge and has been one of my biggest bugbears for many years. It’s a problem across the board unfortunately not just Kings Lynn. Some are better than others, but not by much. It just shows a complete disregard for your paying customers and is extremely lazy.
  3. When referencing the GP weekend you have to remember this is a once a year event. If you were to repeat that even just once a month interest would soon drop, even if the admission charge was lowered. Arenacross is the same, put it on every fortnight and it would soon reach speedway’s attendance figures.
  4. I know it’s in vogue on here these days to have the “end of the world is nigh” attitude, but even I have to admit the doomsday prediction that it’s gonna be exactly the same as last year because nothing has leaked on next year by the beginning of August, is a bit of a stretch. Come on chaps rein it in a bit 😂
  5. That's a shame, he's been doing a decent job for us, but needs to put his own health first Now the negative... what really annoys me is Jordan announced this 24 hours ago and there is absolutely nothing on the Stars website or any mention in their social media. I know we don't have a meeting til Monday, but a few words wouldn't hurt and to hear what their plans might be for Monday (assuming Mulford unless they are still harbouring realistic play off hopes)....
  6. The riders wages demands at Championship level are really a major problem but that will never be resolved now.Crowds certainly don’t cover the costs nowadays at most track in UK.Workington is a brilliant set up,shame if that going to be lost to League. The appalling fixture planning (again to suit riders needs) is another factor.Regular fixtures needed to keep fans interested.IMO
  7. What the hell is wrong with you lot? I’m convinced a few people are now just on a wind up. If not, this is just cry arsing for cry arsing sake! We’re literally just in to August ffs and people are having a pop that nothing has been mentioned about NEXT year? Who the hell was expecting anything to be announced about 2027 by August 1st 2026? We know for a fact they’ve been having regular meetings far earlier this year to avoid a repeat of last winter if anyone even bothered to listen to the Richard Coleman interview. They’re not, and never were, realistically going to go public by August 1st on anything for 2027. Unbelievable.
  8. The GP's in Manchester showed you can get a good crowd, paying top dollar, if speedway is "done properly"... And has something worth winning, with jeopardy, consequence, and credibility.. A large amount of those fans being ones who don't attend domestic UK Speedway.. Keep putting out the same old/same old thing, ie dozens and dozens of meetings with the kudos level no higher than that of a testimonial meeting, and you simply won't ever engage enough people to buy what you are trying to sell.. You can only hope that radical and progressive change has been planned with a major reset and relaunch... And that, at least the top tier, has been able to get some decent sponsorship, a TV deal, and a prize size that creates interest...

  10. Today
  11. If thats what you call 3 pumpings , I can only imagine your partners disappointment .
  12. Jeppesen isnt a number one as last night again showed. Shadow of last years rider.
  13. In answer to the topic title No at present, with all the fiasco of who would be running and who would not the message from the those who supposedly know was "stick with us we have plans for 2027". Well where and what are they ? I can see the close season ahead being the same as last year full of what ifs and promises with things being thrown together a couple of weeks before the start of the season with more crap being spewed out once more. I have followed this sport since 1968 and I am now 69 and rapidly losing interest in it, the sport over here is dying on its arse and instead of those in charge looking to the future of it they are licking fag papers and sticking them over the cracks trying to hold what's left off it together. How can anyone be interested in 2027 when according to the promoters the people are already voting with there feet in this the 2026 season. One has to wonder how many more loyal supporters will not return next year and the possibility of how many tracks will not return either in there current form?
  14. You obviously have an agenda against our tm, he has been improving since he started the job, I think tactically he has mostly been spot on, as for guests, strange how they get double figures riding against us, then look like novices when guesting, only guests that actually did well for us are Dan T and Tate Zische, so until we get a replacement for Kyle , I would prefer r/r. As to making the play offs, I think we will scrape in but no one is going to better Poole over 2 legs anyway. Yes Berwick did but that was an anomaly, Poole will not allow that to happen again unless they have the misfortune of more injuries which they tend not to get at the rate of other teams. As for this match, it was a cracker, fair play to both teams.
  15. Lodz SGP 2 Friday 31st July https://youtu.be/k4IHrAaEH60?si=Jk6EOLFIGcQPKdpq
  16. Ooh Clive, you normally complain if anyone goes off topic but seeing as you have.. I wouldn't write off Luke Harrison. Im not sure how he is at Plymouth but he is no5 for Scunny. Not like Plymouth is Zach's best track normally.
  17. Good sportsmanship shown by us to let them have a draw to save them the embarrassment from being pumped three times in their back yard this season. In all seriousness though, chucked that away, Grahn getting beat to Hooder in 11 was poor, but Paco decided to go one better by getting passed with ease by him effectively costing us the win.
  18. I'm a bit behind at the moment being stuck in a field near Barnsley, anyway from what I saw on the updates the Pirates really JUST got away with that one. One speedway rule I absolutely loathe is the strategic replacement one, I get ridiculously happy when it all goes wrong (cos I've never witnessed Poole use it before), but last night it was a godsend and gave the Pirates draw. Bad luck Cheetahs it is a cr.p rule.
  19. It'll probably be rinse and repeat again and try and run the top league with 5 teams if Sheffield don't run, and still try and call it the Premiership when they'll be next to bugger all actual top riders available to ride over here.
  20. Maybe was when he started Geoff, but if he is losing money every meeting, unfortunately it can't last, as your dream becomes a nightmare
