  2. Do you know which league they've pulled out of ? If it's PL CL and NDL again it could be Cheetahs moving up to PL or staying CL. If it's one league then every club is dropping out of either PL or CL to create whatever the new league is called.
  3. I went to a few meetingsand world championship at Wembley ,British riders at Bellvue etc in the 70's and odd meets in the 80's, but it was only when I moved from Somerset to Herefordshire in the 90's that I started to attend every Newport Wasps ( and Mavericks) home meetings and the odd away meeting when they were riding. it was the Watson, Smart, era that really got me hooked, likewise it was the demise of the Wasps which got me to being an occasional speedway attendee once again, plus a few Grasstrack meets, now there is value for money, lots of races, fast programme and few breaks in between.
  4. It probably will with Mr Roger’s involvement
  5. I was born in Wolverhampton and have always been a wolves fan and always will be but when I joined Berwick in 1999 and 2000 it became like a second home, I loved it there, the Berwick folk made me feel like one of theirs, often stayed up there with the meldrums and was often in the town or on the beach, loved the place and still do, so it definitely captured my heart
  6. Genius idea. Go one better and make another series of that Harry's Heroes. Get Loram, Floppy Norris, Dean Barker out of retirement for one last rodeo.

  8. Oh dear. 0 for Hodder then. Not much better for Perry Either and now Harris off form
  9. Why not just make sure both mascots are present at all matches and get them to have a rammy if you can’t break the deadlock? You win by removing the head off the other mascot.
  10. Agree, a very hard final to predict, maybe slightly favour Poole as they seem to be able to "step up" when it matters most, plus Glasgow may not be able to find a reserve guest to score points at home.
  11. I think Poole will do enough at home to see them through the second leg, thats based on Glasgows performances down there so far this season, will Nagel adapt to the track on his first visit, will Tigers reserves be capable of taking points off the home reserves? Intriguing and interesting final.
  12. Expect some baffling and controversial decisions on Wednesday evening...Christina Turnbull is the referee...🙈
