  1. Past hour
  2. Well done to Luke deserves a win think he was bit unlucky last year.Vinnie’s turn this year, has had a good season though and improved as a rider IMO.
  3. Totally disagree. Personally I think it would do him the world of good to have Ipswich or Leicester as him home track. Cardiff is nothing like Ipswich. IMO he needs a move away from the NSS. Agree to disagree on this one.
  4. Some of them might be there Badge? We’ve got the Junior meeting next week and I know Louis wanted some of the senior Witches from this year to be there to help the youngsters with advice etc. I know what you mean though, collectively as an Ipswich team.
  5. Holding a GP at Ipswich would be a worthwhile consideration. They have had a Stox world final there and accommodated 10k crowd something not possible for Speedway elsewhere in the UK without a considerable gamble on initial cost. Not saying instead of Manchester but “as well”.
  6. He wanted to ride for Belle Vue, the rules prevented it, he'd already done a deal in Sweden. Lots of replies to my comment so will reply here, every year theres fan rumores of Dan signing for thier club and every year he signs for Belle Vue, he will do so again imo. Dan won't gain anything towards becoming world champion by riding Ipswich every week, the days of needing to ride small tracks to be world champion are gone. One of the most techinical tracks in the GP was Cardiff, he won that 2 out of 3 times.
  7. Or Foxhole 🙄 we haven't had that lately 😜 Anyway the dust has settled, I've finally managed to watch a recording, thanks to YouTube and rifling data from hubby's phone due to Internet failure from Thursday afternoon until this lunchtime so thanks city fibre and EE 🤡, it's hit me now that this Thursday in the pits, the magnificent 7 ( well 9) won't be there, that's it😲 What a fabulous team we've had the privilege to watch and support.
  8. Was his 'ban' in 2022 when he decided to ride in Poland and Sweden instead of the UK?
  9. Probably a completely different take when you’re watching sat up in the stands, compared to actually standing on it. It’s a very nice compliment to Ipswich either way. It was some occasion, an occasion we haven’t seen the like of anywhere here for a number of years. Fair play to them.
  10. They’d be neither “tapping up” or “poaching” Dan Bewley. Dan Bewley is not currently Belle Vue’s rider. He’s a free agent and can negotiate with whomever he likes, and Chris Louis can do likewise. Mark Lemon can enter negotiations with Tom Brennan if he wishes, or Jason Doyle, or any 2025 Ipswich witches rider come to that. He’d be doing absolutely nothing wrong. No tapping up or poaching needed.
  11. You'd have thought he would have remembered the podium... he was stood on top of it last year at Leicester!
  12. Don’t let anyone on here tell you ever again that winning the title is “worthless” and “means nothing”. Of course it means something to a lot of people, and not just the fans. He probably won’t go anywhere, but he SHOULD IMO. Mike makes some great points. He’s not adding strings to his bow by pinning the throttle and riding the boards at the NSS every week. He seems to have only one way of riding and does the same in the GP’S. Again Mike is correct, he’s been passed multiple times on the inside because of his lack of track craft. He would improve as a rider tenfold by riding Ipswich every week or a track similar. One where he’d simply HAVE to adapt and learn to ride different lines if he wanted to pile in the points and earn good money. No time for patting yourself on the back and dwelling on your success. Thoughts should, and would, already be fixed on next year. Ipswich now have a couple of riders on averages they shouldn’t really touch. King started on an attractive figure because of his wrist issues last year which saw his performances dive. He’s had a good steady year which has seen that average rise and now has an average that Ipswich shouldn’t go near if they want to be successful. Surely now is the perfect time for him to bow out at Ipswich on a high note after lifting the title as captain? Unfortunately, you can say the same about Dan Thompson. Started on a ridiculously low figure due to a 25% reduction, has piled in the points at reserve, but has struggled a little when moving in to the main body. Now on a 6+ average, he wouldn’t be at reserve next year. Still young of course, but I’m not sure I’d have him in the main body of the side on that figure. Certainly doesn’t scream “bargain”.
  13. Today
  14. 1. TORUN (Rated the team this year after getting rid of the deadweight and they look even stronger in 2026 imo) 2. WROCLAW (Should click straight away as it's basically the same team from 2025, Think they're ahead of Lublin on paper this time around) 3. LUBLIN (Zmarzlik will keep them in the mix, Team needs drastic improvement from Lindgren & Vaculik to compete for the title imo) 4. ZIELONA GORA (Lots of potential to improve imo and they could be a big spoiler in 2026) 5. GRUDZIADZ (Looks good on paper but did Drabik & MJJ just have a freak season?, Will need both riders to carry that form over to 2026) 6. LESZNO (Baffling team bulding by signing most of the 24 relegated side, Heavily reliant on Parnitskyi but lucky 2 clubs have financial issues) 7. GORZOW (Better than Czestochowa in every department but could still go down depending on who finishes 2nd in Ekstraliga 2 in 2026) 8. CZESTOCHOWA (Should be thrown out of the league and replaced by Bydgoszcz imo, Doubt Czestochowa will win a meeting in 2026)
  15. Out of the top two leagues, Leszno had the biggest crowd on any one off night, bigger than even Torun’s Ekstraliga final attendance. Wroclaw had the best average attendance at 13,675 with an impeccable 100% attendance record all season.
  16. It was great to hear Louis & Hawkins on the radio yesterday morning. Talking already about building a team to keep on winning. 2025 was great season, winning on the track & enjoying some banter on here & on the terraces, winding the opposition up. It’s all part of the fun looking forward to 26 already
  17. The SWC is definitely the better competition but I cant see a good reason why have they got rid of the race off!? Terrible decision
  18. That’s is true, currently I would say it’s not a definite no go but I get the feeling it might be.
  19. No I am not going. Too far, cost £200 fuel, two days away and I can watch the stream for £12.99. Plus I am going to Crystal Palace Saturday for the top PL clash.
  20. Shame Vinnie Foords chain snapped or he would have probably won it , Rushden already agreed terms with Poole
  21. They are riding better now and Nagel has never faced us, he is a very good rider, with him they are a different team.
  22. A brilliant meeting and some good hard racing, Vinnie was hard done by to loose a chain while leading the last heat, could have won outright, will cairns missed the gate so did not get into the run off. While the run off itself was hard fought, well done all riders you were a credit to the sport. Cooper Rushden looks a fantastic prospect at 15 years old
  23. They are riding tomorrow though so that should get the cobwebs out ready for Wednesday and Flint guested for Redcar last night, Dan T also rode in the play offs for Ipswich. Cant see Glasgow reserves giving us much trouble but their top 5 are very strong, Nagel is their new tarasenko,we need 10-12 point lead in my opinion.
