  1. Past hour
  2. Great idea, send all the up and coming riders to Poland. Britain can just be a feeder country for Polish speedway.
  3. Poole still do have good away support, but it’s a lot more expensive to travel nowadays plus clubs have live streams so many, myself included, pay for these instead. If this was league or not a foregone conclusion I and more others would attend. Having said all that I will be at Leeds on the 27th, Palace on the 18th Oct, Man city on the 1st Nov and Villa on the 8th Nov cheering on AFCB. And will take in a few STFC matches as I always do.
  4. He rode in the final round of SGP2. This is another couple of weeks away yet, whether he is fit or not though is a different matter.
  5. Dont the Poole mafia do away meetings anymore? They used to have a great away support years ago. I suppose the cost of everything is so much now it cannot be done which is a shame. Another final beckons for the Pirates.
  6. Is Przyjemski likely to be fit? He's missed the last few weeks including the final of SGP2. I'm not sure I can be bothered with the SoN2, are any of the other nations (thinking potentially Denmark) likely to give the Poles anything to worry about?
  7. Like others have mentioned I don't think you will need much cash in Poland, maybe at the stadium if you want some fodder or drinks. There are things to do in Torun but it's not a big city like Wroclaw. Gingerbread Museum & Copernicus Planetarium (make sure you have an expresso before you go in) are worth a visit if you have not been before. You can climb to the top of the Old Town Hall for a panoramic view of the city & surrounding area. I was hoping KH Energa Toruń (Ice Hockey) maybe staging a fixture while I'm there, but sadly not this time. The local gingerbread & honey beers is good and available fairly cheaply in most shops but if you are after some proper beer then Deer Bear is the place to head to. There is also Torun Sour Soup which is pretty delicious, loads of restaurants around the square, had everything from an American diner filth fodder to an Indian & Thai previously but my favourite place to eat is the restaurant by the Brass Donkey (less cute than initially imagined.... it was medieval torture device). And there are a fair few pierogi places, not my thing but worth trying if you've never had them before. As well as the Copernicus statue & the brass donkey, there are brass cartoon dog, gingerbread woman (with dog) and brass woman with Goose to spot around the city and the dancing fountain is worth viewing after dark if it's on. Toruń Plaza is a sizeable shopping centre near the stadium also.
  8. Think that’s more where none Poole fans on here make statements that aren’t true about Cairns. No Poole fan has criticised him at all, he is 16 and has a massive future. Glad he’s at Poole in 2026! We will have an exciting young team next year that will entertain.
  9. Today
  10. Neither of them will be involved unless there is a spate of injuries to Bewley, Lambert, Kurtz, J Holder & Fricke which seems unlikely since fixtures are now few & far between.
  11. Yes lucky it is a BSN cup meeting so doesn't affect averages.
  12. Personally I think was unnecessary, he was signed on a 2.00 average so no surprise he'll score 2 points (or less) in some matches. Obviously shows he has great belief in himself because he expects more of himself, but just hope he doesn't put too much pressure on his own shoulders. Maybe that's an issue with Poole, fans, riders & management all expect to win. Rides going to a team that generally struggles, probably won't have the same pressure on them?
  13. I'd say it's a bit early to say riders have let you down when it mattered most, 26 point lead against Oxford & 14 point lead against Glasgow. Plus they don't need to win at Redcar, 43 points will do.
  14. Bomber has bettered his Championship average year-on-year for the last five years. 2021: 8.11 2022: 8.98 2023: 9.18 2024: 9.30 2025: 9.35 Now show me another rider who’s done that.
  15. Can't understand these points, if Poole are as bad as you've made out, how did they finish 2nd in the qualifying league? Would a terrible team not be fighting Scunthorpe for the wooden spoon? Besides this team could still win the treble!
  16. Shouldn't every club be trying to do that? I can't see Poole going for Jeppesen anyway as he has a high average now. They'll look for someone lower with potential to improve, i.e Morris.
  17. Don't judge everyone else by your own clubs standards.
  18. I would say the same for Rowe if he has any ambition. A berth in a lower tier Polish league would surely benefit him more than another year in the Championship.
  19. Looking good for tonight! https://www.facebook.com/photo?fbid=807409495134655&set=a.176280114914266
  20. There is no doubt he has the ability to do well and it was thought riding with Harris at Glasgow and Kings Lynn would do him good but clearly did not work.
  21. At least ashton had a good go and did well, unlike many many riders that plug away each season and never improve.
  22. I doubt they’ll be interested in his current 8.5 average
