  1. Past hour
  2. Had a superheat written all over it. Was a good meeting tonight fingers crossed for everyone affected in Heat 14
  3. I know it's only a fun meeting but they seem to have got the Groups a bit lop sided. Summers and Loftus both have higher averages in the NDL then Etherington and Vale it would have been fairer to swap those around.
  4. Thank god for that, at least there won't be pages of weather reports 😂
  5. That individual is a real pain and is doing the cause no favours at all, he is best just ignored and just hope he doesn’t do any damage
  6. Hope that all are OK. The rule only goes to 4-2s if its not clear from the 5-1s if i understand correctly. So it would be Tigers on that basis.
  7. Best wishes to the injured supporters. In the circumstances the result is less important than their welfare but rule 012.1.26 does not say it's the team with most 5-1s, it says it is the team with most heat advantages over the two legs that wins. Which in this case seems to be Redcar (8 heat wins to Glasgow's 7) Actual wording is: Any official team fixture abandoned after heat 10 where the score is level, in either leg and/or on aggregate after the second leg, the extra point will be decided with the count back system using the results of both legs, if appropriate. The team who scored the most heat advantages (5-0, 5-1, 4- 2, 3-2, 3-0 in no particular order) will be awarded the extra match point and/or aggregate point.
  8. A North East Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called to a road traffic incident this evening (12 October) at 19:38 on Dormor Way in Middlesbrough. We dispatched one ambulance crew and one patient was taken to James Cook University Hospital."
  9. Do you really think this is an appropriate comment after what happened this evening?
  10. A North East Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called to a road traffic incident this evening (12 October) at 19:38 on Dormor Way in Middlesbrough. We dispatched one ambulance crew and one patient was taken to James Cook University Hospital."
  11. Hoping the injuries aren’t too serious , it was an alarming incident to witness. Glasgow have a history of having matches awarded in their favour against Redcar , even after the SCB initially said the fixture should be rerun . We wait and see…..
  12. Too be honest who really cares who goes through. Thoughts with those injured and there families. Hopefully they make a full recovery.
  13. Hopefully he's okay for Weds and Fri as would be nice to have playoff final with no guests. Although potentially one for Anders if he's not feeling better?
  14. If it is Glasgow in the final for Poole make it double bubble when they have the league play off final. Save 2 trips to Scotland for the Pirates and 2 trips South for the Glasgow people.
  15. Glasgow declined to ride the fixtures in August. When both teams had blank dates.
  16. I don't think they will announce anything until they know the fans are okay. Fingers crossed they are. One poster has said it is just on 5-1s which would be a bit harsh seeing as there was only one over the 2 legs. Another poster has said 5-1s and 4-2s. Both teams have had a good amount of 4-2s, so would be fairer if they were included imo.
  17. If it's the same as the old Odsal track the bends were plenty wide enough, can't remember the straights though, I suppose as long as they satisfy the FIM track specifications it could be potentially doable.
  18. Most important hope everyone is OK I think Glasgow will have to go through. Purely LOGISTICAL I am sure there will have to be a Full SCB / Local Authority Health and Safety review and Track Inspection after an incident of this nature. These sort of things can take weeks. Remedial safety measure may be ordered. I suspect therefore that whether by default or not, the pragmatic resolution will be GLASGOW This implies no blame on anyone but ALL Motorsports are potentially dangerous to competitors and spectators and due process will have to follow
  19. If this is applicable then I reckon Glasgow is the winner.
  20. Think Nagel showed tonight be could be handy over both legs, having seen him at Ashfield (not carrying injuries) he will make the difference.
  21. Today
  22. Like you say the result is irrelevant ,more important is the injuries to people who were involved.
  23. Neither. Rule 012.1.26. Team who scored more 5-1s over the two legs is the winner.
