  2. Does anyone know if the top team picks who they want to race against in this seasons play offs? Anyone?
  3. The NSSC are delighted to announce that Shane Parker will be the special guest on August 26th. The ever popular Australian raced for; Ipswich, Middlesbrough, Hull, Belle Vue, Peterborough, Glasgow, Somerset and Sheffield in a very successful British career from 1990 to 2011. Before retiring and returning to Australia Shane was a regular visitor to the Nuneaton Speedway Supporters Club so it will be a real pleasure to welcome him back. Everyone is welcome to attend the NSSC meetings with an entry fee of only £4. All proceeds are for the GB Young Lions. The venue, The Brandon Club, is just down the road from the stadium and offers a full bar with hot & cold drinks and light snacks. There is limited parking at the rear of the Club but plenty of on-street parking around the venue. The date; 26th August The time; 8pm The address; Brandon Club, Main Street, Brandon, Coventry, CV8 3HW. Come and join us for a night of speedway chatter. 4. Today
  5. I know people are quoting it’s 1st v 4th and 2nd v 3rd. As it should be. However what we know about those in charge it can be changed to suit any circumstances. So let’s see.
  6. It looks like a Rayleigh race jacket on the rider in gate 1
  7. There's nothing like a'nice smooth consistent rack'!!🤣
  8. Have to agree with that first part, picking a very weak team & almost winning, does not mean they didn't deserve to lose. Certainly feel for the fans.
  9. Peterborough v Rayleigh If it's Geoff Maloney in gate 1, then it could have been the league meeting on 12th June 1970
  10. Agree, but he has been World Champ and it was no fluke and never been able to defend it.
  11. Agree, but he has been World Champ and it was no fluke and never been able to defend it.
  12. Nice smooth consistent rack, a bit more shale, and plenty of water it is then
  13. Danny Ford reckons track prep will be totally different to recent weeks after frank discussions with all the Pirate riders. Terry the Track - its all yours......!!😄
  14. I don't understand Edinburgh's riding order. It seems odd to me. I did think this would be a close tie overall with Glasgow winning on the night. Looking at the lineups now, I think Glasgow might have the lead by the first grading break. Now watch me get egg on my face...
  15. If it turns out to be an "easy win", that'll be a "big result". Bearing in mind recent meetings.
  16. Emil would be a great addition Artem always reminds me of Hancock's approach "gate and go " but at least it would stop all the moaning about them not being in !
  17. Whatever else may be said about the Birmingham promotion, it can't be denied that they have given development riders opportunities. Well done to them for that. It's a shame more people don't stay on to watch them or have attended the NDT matches
  18. Looks like Tate Zischke is in for Howarth now, hope Kyle is doing okay.
  19. Live updates Indianerna v Lejonen, from 6pm UK time: https://ta.svemo.se/Public/Pages/Competition/DrivingSchedule/CompetitionLiveResult.aspx?Branch=Speedway&Columns=CompetitionInfo,Branch,Name,Organizer,FromDateShort,LiveResult&DateFilter=TODAY&pagesize=10&IsArrangeable=true &ShowSearch=true&Style=SvemoWebsite&CompetitionId=16656
  20. LBW have a flat white with Shovvy later but make sure he pays! Easy win for Poole.
  21. Should be a routine three points but then again, I thought we’d comfortably overturn a six point deficit to dump Lynn out of the Cup and that never happened. 46-44 will do.
