  1. Past hour
  2. That ride enough to earn him a nomination for Rider of the Night, he even managed to get a couple of votes, which is more than Nicolai Klindt did the other night after scoring 13 points for the Bears 😂
  3. Would you say he's living off his father's name? Not sure what his background is? Has he been on the spanners in the past? Proves once you're in, you're in. Somehow he picked up the managers job at Birmingham, led them to consecutive disastrous bottom place finishes and now looks to be doing the same with Northamptoningham now he's a "team manager" 🤔
  4. Just wondering... how many video updates have The Aces done with Dan on his recovery and rehabilitation process? I've seen at least 2 from Wroclaw 🤔
  5. Teams not officially announced for this meeting yet, however Ekstraliga 2 have announced teams for Rzeszow v Poznan for Thursday evening and it shows Pickering riding for Rzeszow. With 4 Premiership teams riding Thursday that means R/R or guest from either Leicester or Belle Vue. I’d say Sheffield will go down the R/R route as all riders available to cover. Can see a Foxes home win 49-41 with Sheffield’s lack of firepower in middle order and reserves coming to bite them again.
  6. If that's the case, as Lewy said why don't you offer to help Steve?
  7. I did. 😕 Good job I'm a big Dan Thompson fan. Him apart, it was a hard watch. And Leicester is only my adopted team while we get Brandon reopened. Ryan Douglas showed flashes. If there was any criticism he was trying too hard. Nick Morris was nowhere. Given some of his recent results it was very disappointing Drew Kemp looked brilliant in one ride and then packed up at the back (again) in another. Sam Masters has been below par all year and this continued that trend. Kyle Howarth started like he was going to be the hoped for secret weapon. Joe Thompson - steady In contrast every member of the BV team performed at the top of their game. On a good day, Leicester would not have won. But this defeat was shameful.
  8. Not me marra. More twists to this tale than a snake that's found a bag of coke
  9. And this exact topic is exactly why this forum is going down the pan. Surely mods can delete this rubbish and trying and make speedway have a little ounce of respect. Imagine if you were knew to speedway and this forum or even posting on this forum loads to discuss and you see a couple of people just insulting and arguing over non speedway related stuff. Surely mods can get some control over this and all ow this site half a chance to get back to being a proper forum of speedway discussion.
  10. Today
  11. Northampton really aren’t far off. They need to make ONE change in particular, two changes if they can’t get anyone worthwhile for Batchelor’s average. I really don’t think there’s an awful lot between Northampton, Lynn and Ipswich. Or Leicester come to that!
  12. That's Fox's big problem three riders who at different times won't fancy it so the odds are every match you are going to have one or two of them getting 0-3 when which makes it incredibly difficult to get a result. At the end of the day we know they were left with the absolute scraps, but Kye Thompson has been outstanding and Iverson despite his years always puts a shift in so at least they aren't getting battered every week.
  13. Excepting Luke Harrison, because he's young and it was his birthday, you can't carry two riders and expect to win away. It's either Lidsey or Klindt that's off the boil, but always Batchelor. I'd much rather see a young rider fail to deliver. Or an experienced SGP rider from Australia but, you know, there's a hierarchy at play.
  14. I'd heard it had to be removed from his jacksie 😉
  15. These kids are the future of speedway, and even the U16s provide great racing and viewing. Absolutely terrible news highlighting yet again the ineptitude of the FIM and associated organizations in managing and promoting the sport.
  16. Yesterday
  17. From Edinburgh website: 'Monarchs Captain Paco Castagna faces a period on the sidelines as he looks to fully recover from a hand injury. Paco has been riding through the pain since his crash against Redcar back in April and following scans has now been diagnosed with thumb ligament damage. Paco will undergo treatment in a bid to return as quickly as possible. Heal up fast Paco.'
  18. Poor display from Leicester - who looked like a championship side - just glad I didn’t watch it live
  19. Thought Northampton could have got a draw if Chris Adam’s was on the bail. Should have replaced batch from his last ride and put Harrison in instead as it was a three rider race thus allowing Thomson to replace Harrison in heat 14.
  20. I've never understood the argument that fans will find something else to do when there's big gaps between meetings & not return? By that logic fans wouldn't come back after the winter break, having found something else to do!
  21. Well it's a 140 mile round trip & I'd seen Leicester before at NSS this season, plus did that trip twice last weekend and I haven't seen Kings Lynn at NSS this year who visit next week.
