Small update for Tuesday. An intense low pressure system with lots of rain is expected to make it's way into southern Sweden late Monday evening and a large part of Tuesday. Hard to know yet exactly where it will hit and how much rain, but all venues for Tuesday are affected. Eskilstuna is expected to receive 21-41 mm of rain on Tuesday. For the televised meeting in Västervik less rain is expected and to stop earlier So given the current forecasts it should be able to go ahead as planned.

And to Ipswich's credit they snapped him up, one of the best reserves now. I like Jason Edwards talks a lot of sense. -

Yeah I think the message is if clubs are gonna bin you at the drop of a hat, don’t expect the rider to wait around for you. - Today

Berwick ‘buy a brick’ Bandits 2025
SharpenRake replied to emilali's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Ben certainly did well on a rough, patchy track. However, wouldn't it be better to prepare a good racing surface and allow your riders to show off their skills? Look at Kemp, Jeppesen and Smith at Glasgow on Friday they were very competitive compared to Saturday night where they appeared to be a bit tentative. -
Tai Woffinden Crash in Krosno

The mental strength of these riders is incredible, another example is Chris Holder not the rider he was but still a very good rider after a terrible crash that put him in a wheel chair for months and seeing what happened to his best friend, incredible grit. -

Completely agree, he’s actually upped his average this season at Plymouth and was just an unfortunate victim of circumstance. I’d certainly have him in over Smith for the rest of the season based on that and his efforts last night, it’s hardly a big risk, his floor is probably the same as Smiths but his ceiling is higher imo. -

I can almost guarantee that this will not happen. There's a reason they didn't bring him back and that reason was proven right by his actions this season. Also, he doesn't fit. Come August 1st we'd have to drop 2 riders to fit him in, and he isn't worth that. -

25.07.2025 - Scunny v Edinburgh Double Header
Fozzie4388 replied to ScunnyDan's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
I do think Scunthorpe need to keep hold of Harrison but is staying at Scunthorpe good for Harrison? It maybe beneficial for Harrison's career to have a year or two away from Scunthorpe and learn a different track by riding it week in week out. I don't think a rider staying too long at the same track is any good for them as they become one track Ponies like Lambert (could argue he's a no track pony atm). -

Well done to everyone who contributed to last night’s Ben Fund collection , a fantastic £1885 was collected -
Wasn't his ban for not taking a test? Don't know about the other one. Not sticking up for him at all, but if your comment is fact, then all good.
