  1. Past hour
  2. Looking at the heat 10 incident unless Cooper has eyes in the back of his head he can't possibly have known Etheridge was there, looks like Rushen moved out as Kerr went to the kerb just as Etheridge was attempting the outside run. Just one of those unfortunately. Certainly not a 'disgrace' and Cooper incredibly unfortunate to be chucked out. Etheridge made himself look a proper plank afterwards.
  3. Are you saying you know the reason? Or there is NO reason for him missing the home meeting?
  4. Signing for a UK club that runs on Wednesdays and signing for a club in Denmark is clearly a massive conflict in fixtures, but when you can just run with a facility... who cares šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø
  5. Just saw the incident on BSN’s social media and it’s one of those that could be debated forever. I think it’s a bit reckless from Rushen. I can see why the referee made the decision, but I can also see Poole fans’ point of view. Not on board with Etheridge mimicking ā€œcome hereā€ with his finger to Rushen, then clipping him on the way past. Would he have done that if it was Kerr or Lambert? Absolutely not. Well done Berwick though. A great club with good people, a fascinating track I love and a lovely part of the country. Buzzing to see the Bandits in a final.
  6. Presumably with Denmark taking priority on Wednesday over a Pirates fixture which had been added to the calendar Lawson couldn't have been at Poole anyway. Although of course that's the risk he took when signing for a Danish club.
  7. It use to happen way back but times have changed and to even think you could replicate in the uk the Polish phenomenon of crowds and excitement is today a pipe dream. You have no publicity at national level (mainstream broadcasters could not give a fig about speedway, it ranks alongside tiddlywinks) and those who are in charge of the sport fail to dial in to the younger generation. Add to this the fact that you no longer have a cost effective entry to the sport which puts many off and hence the younger generation are no engaged. Those in charge have failed to sell the spectacle that it can be and now grass root change is needed but you have dinosaurs running the shop and until they are ousted you will have the status quo.
  8. Financially Plymouth v Berwick is not what the Plymouth promotion wanted. Only a handful of away fans at each meeting while Poole would have bought down a lot of fans and vice versa. But there is clear lethargy in the Pirates camp. Clear for fans to see. Worst effort I have seen in many seasons. In fact since Brady Kurtz and Jack Holder went on the piss the night before we rode at Ipswich in the 2019 playoff semi final second leg.
  9. The rocket man let Poole down badly know reason why he couldn't of been in the home meeting obviously not injured but had something which was more important to him than riding for Poole going on.
  10. Neutral fan, but I can’t see from seeing a reply on BSN Facebook how rushen was at fault there? He’s in front of etheridge he’s moving out to block any attack which he has every right to do. Hard to see if there was any contact with the cloud of dust but for me, etheridge has over committed, realised he’s running out of track rapid, and bailed. His reaction after was utterly embarrassing . A man throwing a pathetic attempt of a punch in the direction of a kid. If that’s in Poland, red card out the meeting. He should get a ban for his reaction there.
  11. Who do you think Matt Ford will bring in Shovvy? Gavan will be celebrating somewhere in Suffolk with a glass of champagne!
  12. Smederna - Lejonen on Monday which is why line ups are out tonight already. Eskilstuna Smederna 1. Maciej Janowski 2. Mikkel Andersen 3. Kim Nilsson (K) 4. Gleb Chugunov 5. Andzejs Lebedevs 6. 13. You gave me a good laugh on that one, think we just need to look at the respective trophy cabinets on that one. Congratulations to Berwick who wanted it more and outrode the Poole lads. No excuses just bad night at the races for us.
  14. all Scandinavians looked ok but hard to tell as ht times slower than normal dan gylkes looked like hes back on pace and bastian borke young harry fletcher also looked good but as allready said meeting must be longest iv ever seen
  15. Congrats to Monarchs on a fine win with the whole team contributing. I do really like watching speedway from Plymouth, seems to be a great atmosphere there. Not a lot of passing tonight, but it makes you appreciate the passes there are like Kye's brilliant outside pass on Danny King in heat 13. Special mention to Jordy, who after a poor ride in what should be his easiest ride in heat 2, then scored 7+2 from his remaining 4 rides.
  16. Shows how entrenched the club vs country (or any other fixture) mind set has become within the sport in the UK that the commentator has been going on about Will Cairns in the SGP2 all night and Havvy was singing his praises... all totally normal and accepted, not even a thought as to why he's not riding for his club that provide him with a full league, cup and BSN Series calendar... should he wish to ride in them šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø
  17. He has a point. It was dangerous reaction that even in heat of the moment you shouldn’t try punching someone on a bike. I also think Rushen was taking the same risk when kicking out at the first attempt of the race.
  18. Having just seen the clip, don't think Rushen did anything wrong, could understand an all-four, but wouldn't disagree with an Etheridge exclusion. No excuse for Etheridge's reaction, should've been thrown out of the meeting.
  19. I've watched every meeting covered by BSN this season and I think this was the best I've seen so far. Poole were unlucky with the exclusion but well done Berwick.
