  1. Past hour
  2. Given the way they seem to be milking this for publicity, they'll have some real front if they decide to fine anyone for it!
  3. For the Gladiators yes, still a centurions fixture to come next weekend
  4. Pretty sure poole would still be for sale, notwithstanding he would have still been buying into a lease problem, must surely have been a better buy??
  5. Tbf I tend to waffle and lose track but in what way have I talked my way out of a job? Pretty sure what I’ve said was correct, and I include myself in that category, the club does need to change its attitude. Imagine my job with Ryan is reasonably safe so at least I have that to fall back on.
  6. Shame, everything seems to be going well down there, good crowds and entertainment, with such a diddly league it has to be two home and away.
  7. Today
  8. So season over for the Gladiators -, 23rd August 2025!!!! Wow....!
  9. That's down to Plymouth not saying he's withholding his services surely.
  10. Better admission charges too I wager!? (NB. So good to see the Poole 2025 thread providing a platform for Plymouth, Worky and other 'fans')!.............😚 PS> Happy Birthday to Tobias Thomsen today - doughnuts for his supper no doubt!!😂
  11. I hope Vinnie can give it 100%, reports of broken bone/bones in one of his hands ?.
  12. With only 500 attending, even with a winning team, you would still not be hitting a huge 100% increase... And, even if you did, that would still be only 1000.. The bottom line is, the people of Birmingham, like so many other major cities in the UK, are just not that interested in Speedway...
  13. Why hasn't he been banned this season? Ben Cook and Francis Gusts have had 28 day bans for putting Poland before their UK teams. Has Nicolai not just done the same?
  14. WORKINGTON: 1. Troy Batchelor 2. Fraser Bowes 3. Tate Zischke 4. Jye Etheridge 5. Antti Vuolas 6. Jacob Hook 7. Vinnie Foord GLASGOW: 1. Chris Harris 2. Jason Edwards 3. Dan Thompson 4. Leon Flint 5. Kyle Howarth 6. Freddy Hodder 7. Stene Pijper Worky reserves SHOULD score well today, but Glasgow's top 5 is very strong, 50-40 away win
  15. Charlie Wright did cruise round the circuit after the incident and was approaching Jake, Im sure to check he was OK and apologise, but Jake pulled Charlie of the bike which caused the fracas, but it all ended well with kisses at the pits.
  16. Glad to see another point of view. If you watch closely as Wright crosses the finish line he hits the rut in gate 4 which puts him right into the path of Jake, he had a split second to sort it out and got it wrong , don’t think it was deliberate but he could have turned straight around on track and apologised but it made for great entertainment anyway. All loved up again afterwards and felt sorry for Jake as the blown engine didn’t help his mood .
  17. Thats no mechanic…..thats the LEGEND that is Ben Murray !
  18. This Glasgow side with Nagels will walk the league. Shame he misses so many meetings , but thats par for the course these days with riders. Riders just ride here there and everywhere when it suits them. After spending some time in the doldrums after the 2011 league title win, its great to see Glasgow back up near the top the last few years though. Scotlands finest.
  19. the national league season was 1 off best ive ever seen for entertainment and better crowds than last 2 seasons
  20. Really! Didnt realise that fella! This forum is an education!
  21. Well…. I would say Wright more than held his own during that encounter. Comfortable points winner. You, on the other hand, are preaching from behind a keyboard about how hard somebody is.
  22. Wright did it at Ipswich earlier in the season tried playing the hard man. About as hard as cotton wool he is a twit.
  23. Or their 10 local derbies a season!
  24. I didn't see the mechanic throw his arms up at the start of it all... hilarious 🤷‍♂️🤣
